My Dad is a complete deadbeat, I was in the hospital and he didn't even care. Kane is a murderer but still he traveled all over the fucking world, battling the worst criminals, everywhere's police and a damn army of mercenaries to save his daughter just to listen how she spews things told to her by band of strange criminals about her dad and accusations of things while unfortunate and related to him still completely out of his control. I didn't feel bad for her anymore after that cinematic.

And in the helicopter ending it makes it look like Lynch and Kane wont be together anymore cause Kane abbandoned Lynch in that ending, but in second game Lynch ivites Kane to help him(yeah like he woudl go: "hey dude, u left me to die last time so uh, wanna come help me ?" So yeah, actually both endings are the "real" ones.

the ending where you leave on the helicopter is the REAL ending..

since Jenny is still alive in Dog Days. it also shows how Kane has felt the whole time. he always says "fuck the men, Jenny is all that matters", and he shows that by saving her at the end. on the boat Jenny dies and Kane goes soft by caring for the other guys, it doesnt work out well.

as for Lynch getting left behind by Kane, just imagine he got a boat and made it out himself while Kane left with Jenny.

Something more along the lines of, Elias in platoon, like you get left behind because of injuries and aparently die, leaving Lynch to bail Jenny & Shelly Out, Kane gets caught by the guerilla army and winds up incarcerated, setting up a sequel with Lynch rescuing Kane after being Hired by the CIA for some "Retirement" espionage around the world.

Very few of my Games I play actually have happy fluffy endings, as I said, the game was good, with a few exceptional moments of shear irritation, just the endings provided left me feeling considerably short changed and left ZERO replay inclination, of cause " They Got Their Money " but if a company wishes to keep me as a customer they should provide options as eidos did with Deus Ex 1 Ubisoft has lost me as a customer with its shoddy Ports & customer service as an example.
