Very very touching tribute you made. Thank you so much, I didn't realize there were some of Brett's expressions I'd missed before. Not many people know this about Jeremy Brett - he suffered from manic depression or bipolar disorder and only came out with the fact shortly before his death. I feel so much of his inner struggles channeled into his acting of the Sherlock character. Fine fine actor.

This is such a touching and emotional song, yet it fits the Sherlock Holmes clips you've selected extremely well. (I cannot stop myself from watching your clip even after 10 times.) Holmes' (or Jeremy Brett's excellent rendering) emotions are always under control yet it doesn't mean that he's devoid of them. The above instance when he plays the violin is possibly the longest episode of an emotional outlet. Brett's tiniest facial expressions never cease to touch me every time I watch it.
