In real life they would begin with negotiation, and if diplomacy fails they would deploy sharpshooters in secrecy and take out all the gun men simultaneously to minimize risks to the hostage.

Allowing time for the suspects to relocate inside the small "house" is already unacceptable and given unnecessary peril to the hostage.

@DandySham I'm not degrading the PTU or the Flying Tigers. They are professional through and through and very outstanding law enforcement units at that. But this demonstration was purely for entertaining the crowd and creating a spectacle, which makes it completely unrealistic.
