The Piper's Precision Products Minigun can also use Co2 or High Pressure Air as a power source, but it also needs a battery to power the motor which turns the barrels. The gas source is only needed to physically fire the BB's out of the barrel.

Metal BB's are NEVER to be used for airsoft gaming or less-than-lethal use and can still cause injury or even possibly death is mishandled during target shooting. So caution should be exercised no matter what type of BB or firearm is used.
