I found this during my freshman year of high school and even though I'm now a senior it is still my favorite video on all of youtube- even after four years.

I've finally been able to download your beautiful reading into a mp3 file so that I may take it to college and wherever I go when I travel the world. As small as it may seem, your video has had a big impact on me. Thank you so much.

When I was a child my mother gave me a poster with the words of the DESIDERATA,it hung on the wall beside my bed for many years,now that im much older I know why she gave it to me.I read it allmost every night as a child and it has stuck in my mind for over 30 years.These are words to live by,and I thank my mother for giving me such a gift.The Desiderata has been a way of life for me for years,And I have been blessed

This is the most beautiful video version I have found of this wonderful writing . Today I remembered finding and reading a printed copy of this in the late 70's and how moved I was by it then, so I went hopefully looking for it here. You moved me to tears, but in a way that leaves peaceful warmth in the heart and soul. I think I'm going to set this as the featured video on my channel for a while.
