He is using current data up 2007. The years at the bottom of the graph are labled in 10 year increments but it goes to 2010. The 1998 super El Nino is clearly visible and then the 8-9 year data afterward is shown.
Why is he using old temp data???? This lecture was in 2008 and he's showing temps only to 2000??? I wonder why??? hmm..... could it be because temps have come down in the last 8 years LOL....
