This has got to be one of the most important documentaries I've ever seen. If I was in charge it would be obligatory watching for all school children in the western world and especially America. If I was in charge there would also be no such thing as a CIA or NSA and also there'd be no such thing as confidential/classified documents or information. 11 million in extreme poverty? The United States has far more in extreme poverty. It also has the highest incarceration rate in the world, most jailed for drug use. But at the same time the government allows big pharma to push huge amounts of pharmaceuticals on the people. And as well the DEA have admitted that they traffic illegal drugs into the United States. It has 3% of global population and consumes 25% of global resources. How do they do that? Steal from everyone else.

The poverty line for the USA population greatly differs from the rest of the world. Someone considered poor in the USA may have Elite living standards in relation to other nations...undeniably the poor receive Welfare,Food Stamps, Social Security, Medicaid, Charity Care, etc. Besides, 11 mil means almost 100% of the population in relation to 320 mil (est population of USA) is only 3%..BIG difference. I am not even going to go into basic Human Rights. Other stuff that you mentioned may be true...

My point is that the elites that run America do not care about the American people. That is why they often send them into useless wars and that is why they incarcerate them at such high rates. And yes America does have it better than the poor countries they steal resources from, but not by much these days. My other point is that you are saying more countries should be like the US, but the US is wealthy by exploiting other nations. So it is essential to the US that other countries be poor.
