  • 5 person never got high while listening to this.

  • Rolls like honey off a hot spoon!!! A road song...

  • cant wait to take a trip in the desert away from this poison socioty

  • society

  • sorry for my spelling i am french

  • I may be 42 but one day I will take a "trip" in the desert.

  • who sings the gospel choir in the background?? I guess I heard ray :D but who are the others???

  • It was everyone who was watching in the spectator booth at the time as well as the band, apparently.

  • I doubt it...this is a studio song it's not a live performance douchebag

  • ye the spectator booth in the studio douchebag

  • what the fuck are you talking about rat bag ??? stopo playing with your dildo for a while an listen well...have you ever seen spectators in a recording studio ???

  • u r dopey .....

if u watch any vid o recording der always some else there wther it the producer and engineers how do u no that it isnt them doing the backing vocals and u never hear one clap or shout from the crowd if its "live"

no need to resort to insults like that when ur wrong

  • this is a studio version my friend...STUDIO...bus stop rat bag, ahah charade you are !!! (Pink Floyd-Pigs)

  • yeah kyuss in the frame...

  • i'm sure it would.

  • Someone close to you drank. Do you hurt? What hurts you the most 123backinyerface?

  • People quoting Oliver Stone movies hurts me the most...lol

  • hahaha XD

  • i hope so..

  • i remember that from the movie. he says that to the reporter

  • i like what you have to say man, but I wouldn't go as far to call him a fool. have a little empathy, Jim was on an entirely different level than reality. yes it's true judgement is inevidable, but take in what we do not know. dive in people and find something new. morrison, hemingway, faulkner; yeah, they abused drugs, but they used them to escape from painful reality and leave for something sacrade in their mind. we can say yeah, they were a little crazy, but listen to their thoughts

  • I know bro, I am a bit hard on Morrison because I feel let down by him. I think he was rebelling against the truth, "that he knew he wasn't really that important", I think that is why he is a fool, because he wasn't truthful with himself, I don't admire that anymore, I used to though and I think the doors are awesome, but as "4 members" but Jim thought he "was" the doors.

I leave no room for idolizing anyone these days, I just see it as an act. Its always been about the music, not the singer.

  • i hear you man. everyone has different perceptions about ideals and people. as long as you find something that's important and meaningful to you, hold on to it as long as you can; learn from that. equality is truth, and I think we at least owe anyone a listen. if it's significant or not, that's fine. it's important we find the good in life. always realize that we are a part of something bigger than who we are. take care

  • you unterstand nothing of dreaming?

  • Great speller though....lol.

  • good song tho eh?

  • That just sounds bitter. You can't qualify people as weak if they're alcoholics, until you walk through another's shoes, you can't know what's going on in his mind, so you shouldn't judge, friend.

  • good trip nice thong

  • long live the lizard king

  • he didn't care about what we think anyway

  • I loved the Doors but Morrison turned into an asshole the day he became an alcoholic. When he was heavily into psychedelics he did his best stuff then it all went to shit. The last few albums were a joke compared to the rest. Do Drugs kids, not Alcohol MMmmmmKay!

  • Alcohol is a terrible drug. It can turn the sweetest person into an asshole.

  • Totally agree

  • fuck yeah!! Long live The Doors!!! I'm stoned and I'm trippin out.

  • My wild love went riding and she never came back :D

  • great song. I am native american and part of the Shawnee tribe in Ohio. We have an kind of resort, it has cabins, ponds, alot of woods, and several of the people that lived that have died there are buried there. Anyways, a while back i was part of the drum that was out there and we sang alot of different sounding songs and this reminds me of alot of the ones we did. Great song.

  • great hit looking to get more by the doors . todays jims b day . long live the lizzard king.

  • definetly one of their best songs...

  • I am looking for a song called My Girl by the doors. If anyone heard of it can u upload it. thats a good song

  • i love this song so much...thx for uploading

  • Whenever I..people always make this song out to be a desert song...i mean it is but whenever i hear this song it soudns like a viking song to me. Anyone else feel that?

  • This sound is actually inspired by Jim's obseesion with Native American shamans. The rattlesnake rattle and chanting are taken directly from Native American shaman rituals, when they took peyote to see the visions of truth. Jim's obsession with the rituals is well documented, and probably one of the major factors in his well known acid use. If you really want to know about his life in depth pick up a copy of his biography "Jim Morrison, Life, Death, Legend" by Stephen Davis.

  • the girl is a bit random

  • thats what i was thinking lol

  • Miegh!

  • awesome!

  • i have a hard on for the desert thank you

  • i agree... great post.I'm glad someone thought of it.
