  • I want Geki to be back

  • THIS IS BAD ASS.

  • @TrueAustinite1 The thing is Vega DID train in Japan.

  • @WhiteKrowe Yeah, that's why I said that I'd like for them to be rivals who trained together...in Japan. LOL

  • Before there was Vega.... there was Geki.

  • Vega: LOL I AM THE BEST CLAW FIGHTURRR

    Geki: BITCH PLEASE >:C

  • I don't give a shit what people say. Vega, Ibuki, and Guy are cool and all, but THIS GUY is the TRUE SF NINJA and should be brought back! He can fight with a combination of Ibuki's and Vega's techniques (both command and charge moves) and bring back his old teleport. I'd love to see a rival battle with him and Vega. He should be remade as a kind of honorable bushido-type ninja, like Rikimaru from the Tenchu series.

  • The music reminds me of American Ninja or some other 80s martial arts movie...lol

  • @Gunmetalhed

It was made in the 80's and its japanesse so no suprise.

I wish the presidents were playable I'd beast the game with Abe Lincon XD

  • @HRLobo12

hey man, all ninjas wore pajamas in the 80s! nowadays it's all about scarfs. heh. back in my day...

  • Geki should be in Street Fighter X Tekken

  • @HRLobo12 Haha! good one lol

  • ibuki's father??

  • @aubba No he isn't. its been stated he's not

  • This arrangement of Geki's theme reminds me of "Once Upon a Time in China."

  • i have a good reason for geki to come back in super street fighter 4 ahem here is his storyline (geki see's ibuki) hmm so my sister has entered this tournamount as well i geuss im next in line sorry master my arrival shall be delayed i want to see how much little ibuki has grown

  • SOUNDS SO 80'S!!!

  • The SF2 booklet says Geki and Vega (Spanish guy) are "Claw rivals".

Anyway... this BGM is awesome! I mean, it's cool as it is, already!

The Retsu one was good, but this is just TOO good not to be brought back! :D

  • looks like a cross between strider and vega.

  • Odd that Capcom decided to remove him off the Street Fighter series but moved to Captain Commando team.....Hmm.

  • @nano69ify That's GINZU in Captain Commando

  • this guy needs a comeback

  • im so ashamed . i called my self the BIGGEST STREET FIGHTER FAN and i never realy payed any attention to SF 1. they realy need to remake this. as much as i like street fihter 2, 3, and 4 + all the alphas this seems to have the heart and soul of what street fighter was about Ryu Vs every body . if the ever make another movie it MUST .... absolutely MUST start here!!!!

  • @dmixwell

I know right, just imagine SF1 running on the SF3 engine.

Not to mention how many fucking times Capcom re-did Resident Evil 1, WTF!?

  • @dmixwell I completely agree, a street fighter one movie would just plain KICK ASS, show the world how the Street Fighter saga began, you know sfII: animated movie begins with the fight between ryu and sagat, so a prequel would make perfect sense

  • なつかしい!!!!!

  • Ah, Fighting Street, where a young, red headed bloke stands in front of Mt. Rushmore, as well as two other blokes carved into the mountain

  • this was my favorite stage music...brings back memories

  • REMAKE! REMAKE! REMAKE!

well I guess I can dream right?

  • Damn that beat is sick Son XD

  • They should bring this guy back. . .Fights with a claw, throws shurikens, tosses a smoke bomb and teleports. . .

Hell, he could of been the guy that trained Vega. . .

  • @BlueFox284 Well in the story, Vega went to Japan to learn Ninjutsu, so there is a chance...

  • yes, in fact he is indeed the man who trained vega and he is also rumored to be the father of Ibuki

  • @BlueFox284 He and Vega are rivals in the storyline, actually. Though it hasn't been stated if they trained together, he trained Vega, or whatever, but we know it was probably his clan that trained Vega, and that they do actually know each other.

    Geki for SSF4 Arcade Edition!

  • @BlueFox284 There is a possibility that he trained Vega. Vega did go to Japan to learn Ninjutsu, and combine it with bullfighting, because he thought that it would be perfect combining Bullfighting with Ninjutsu, also due to acrobatic skills. So yes like I said before there is a huge possibility, also due to the claw gauntlet, however, Vega's claws are longer.

  • @BlueFox284 Retsu, Eagle and Geki all deserve to come back. Geki could use the stereotypical ninja tools as special moves, like shurikens, smoke bombs, paper seals, sustitution logs and so forth.

Not only wouldn't fight like Vega, but we could get a real ninja in the game.

  • @MrJechgo

Well...Vega IS a real ninja. He studied Ninjutsu in Japan and then combined it with his bullfighting style. His fighting style is said to be "Spanish Ninjutsu".

    Plus, there's also Ibuki.

  • @BlueFox284 he's dead.

  • @superlarry54 really? Geki's dead? O.O

  • @superlarry54 Yeah I remember hearing that and it's in the ibuki story comic also thats her father

  • @superlarry54 I don't remember Geki being her father. I know her master was a part of the clan that Geki was part of (named the Geki clan) but he left and formed the clan Ibuki belongs to.

  • @BeautifuButPsychotic Afraid so, she is indeed the daughter of Geki.

  • @superlarry54 how did he die?

  • @TheDarrien21 that I really don't know

  • @BlueFox284 he is he has to be

  • @BlueFox284 He was he is also the Father of Ibuki!

  • geki in sf1 looks younger than ryu so in my view hes as old as adon maybe so ahem.................... GEKI 4 SSF4!

  • About Geki...is he rumored to be Ibuki's father?

  • No, and he isn't Vega's teacher either before you ask. Just because Geki's using a claw doesn't mean it was evidence that it's the case. Then again, SF1 characters outside of Gen, Retsu, Birdie, Sagat and Adon weren't developed too much in-story, but those few things are facts.

  • You could say Vega paid homage to Geki which is more appropiate since im sure capcom wasn't sure how to link the story they only went with the end result of Ryu beating sagat really, everything else on the side is a little under developed.

  • @chaosgreyblood

Rumored means it's unconfirmed. Geki could very well be Vega's teacher and Ibuki's papa, but their is no confirmation. Their is no denial either.

    Hence a rumor

  • How old is this version? And the guy on this cover is Ryu!? o.O This has to be JUST before I started playing NES XD

  • 1988

  • lmfao yeah, just before. Thanks for confirming how old I am Renegade -.- LOL

  • lol hey you asked

    80's kids for the win

  • Well I guess it's best I leave since it seems that a 90's kid doesn't belong here. :: Walks off with duffel bag in hand::

  • you got that right kid, scram

  • @Renegade466isback Sweet! I was 6 years old when I saw this game for the first time! Thanks to my older brother and being a rebel, and getting all the hard to find games and anime. :} Love'em!

  • @Renegade466isback pense que era 1987 jja

  • @2lateforyou this is like the US box art basically

  • @eidairman1 It's funny though; talk about over hauled characters! :D

  • @2lateforyou u see the US megaman and US streets of rage box art?

  • @eidairman1 No! What do those look like?

  • @2lateforyou Actually, Fighting Street (what it was called for the Turbo Grafx 16) came out in the early 90s.

  • Ryu's hair in the cover is scary as hell.

Red is not a good color for his hair. lol

  • The box art is atrocious

  • Yeah, it sucks ass from a straw. Ryu looks really generic in that one, more American than Japanese.

  • i said it in a previous vid but if you look closely you will know ryu modeled off sony chiba. he was some famous japanese martial arts actor who starred in a film called "the street fighter"
