Every year i feel 2 years older. My teenage years were full of pet shop boys sounds. Now everything seems to faint. Today 38 y.o. all my life is like "hit and miss". Great song by the way. Great song...
i have to confess i love their B sides better than most of their main stream "HITS" which i love too. The B sides are always a breath of fresh air. i love to play them again and again.
Its about time Alternative 2 was released, so all the incredible B-sides from 1995 onwards can be enjoyed together, this being one of the many great tracks.
I agree almost everything from Pet Shop Boys is Excellent and they are so prolific it is hard to keep up. I have been following them since "West End Girls" and am still finding older songs I like. I don't understand why they are not as popular in America but I guess because they don't play to the mainstream audience.
That's the problem about the PSB: they produce a lot, and they only produce excellent stuff. It's almost impossible to keep up. I have no idea where I can find this wonderful track.
Thinks it´s better than the A-side : "Before". Not very unusual for PSB, loads of B sides outclass the A material. Example : Hey Headmaster, Miserablism etc....
Good song. Never heard before. I love there b-sides and unreleased tracks. Also their hits of course. I still hope one day the Pet Shop Boys are going to work with Stock/Aitken/Waterman.
Why on earth would you hope for that? Stock, Aitken & Wate (sorry, I can't bring myself to say his name) murdered 'pop' music from about 1987 onwards. Pet Shop Boys write and record quality records, songs that they would probably like to hear themselves, where as S.A.W. write generic, repetetive shite for that particular weeks pin-up boy/girls. I know it's all about opinions, but Jesus, S.A.W. are bad. I'd rather see a collaboration with the Boys and Motorhead than see them any where near S.A.W!
Let me step in here and just say that it's absurd to make any comparisons between PSB and SAW. The Hit Factory set out to do exactly what it intended...........to make fun, club-oriented dance music and not follow in the footsteps of Gilbert & Sullivan. The PSB have always created wonderful and serious POP music, but I know myself and many other's best memories of the 1980's center around the music of SAW.
Does anybody knows where i can find the piano score for this? i really like this song and i wanna play it on piano so badly!! i have the guitar tabs, but is not the same.
This track is a b-side from the time between 1995-1997, with other words, the time of Bilingual. I love PSB music and especially I should say, a lot of their B-sides. Thank yu for upload!

Well, Xenomania, the producer of the Yes album,
can be considered the SAW of this decade...
