Water pump can be just about anything since only about 50gpm is needed. We're running a cheap 2.5HP Tecumseh trash pump purchased from the local feedstore, but it's run at idle power with the flow restricted through a ball valve. We've run up to 200' of line and still had more water than necessary.
This is a homemade copy of the G-1 and the stand is homemade as well. Wanted to be able to make pitch adjustments to each tray individually and also wanted the increased slope to the screen between trays. This setup doesn't seem to rock up quite as much as the G-1.
We've played a bit with the pitch and now have the box set to where we don't see any gold at all in the tails, with 90% or better recovery in the upper tray.
