Automatic is better than manual in all cars what are you talking about? =\ You get to pay more attention to your driving. That is why they have invented tap-shifters. thats even better than a manual because there is no clutch to worry about

Yeah so I can keep one hand off the steering wheel the entire time im driving so if I have to make an emergency turn I have a wheel on the stick. Yes I do know what im talking about too. I would much rather have a paddle shifter. If I want to shift it manually i have the option , and when i dont, its automatic. whats not to like?

you don't even know what you're talking about. while both the auto and manual versions are hooked up to the same engines, the manual will actually give more power to the wheels because there are fewer electric parts for the power to move through, and therefore much less is lost. a paddle shifter is not the same because most of them change automatically (unless it's a double clutch) so you're not actually in control.

and also, idk what you're talking about with only one hand on the wheel. you hold the wheel, and then for a split second, you change gear. it does not require a hand on it at all times.

anyway, you own a mustang so you obviously have no idea what a good car is. anybody who knows anything about cars knows that the mustang (especially the 05-09's) are terrible cars.

I still like our mustang better though. Nothing wrong with the Solid Rear axle on a MUSCLE CAR, dipshit! Its WAY cheaper to build than an Independent seqtup. i actually did drive a 2008 v6 convertible automatic. it was terrible, on the slightest bend you had to slam on the brakes (although it barely had any) or else you felt like you were going to understeer. the acceleration was shit too, and i'm told that the v8 is even worse because they stuffed all that power into it, and never even changed the suspension and the brakes.

and if that's how your friends drive a manual, they don't know how to drive. case closed.

Hah, I dont believe you. The brakes on it are FAR better than those on our truck. They are very sensetive. We drove it down a narrow bendy mountain road at, well, in excess of hte speed limit of 15mph and it did perfectly. Acceleration is gratifying, 0-60 in 7 seconds is nothing to sneeze at, for a V6. The V8s suspension was more tuned for performance than the V6 was. The v6 is more for cost effectiveness than anything. That doesnt mean its shit.

i'm not lying, i drove that car for a couple hundred miles. and of course it's going to out-corner and out-brake a truck you idiot, it's much smaller.

drive some other cars, besides trucks, and then you'll see how bad the mustang is.

I love our cars. And you said there was hardly any brakes at all on it, and the ones on our truck arent bad, and the mustang is much better than those. I test drove a BMW x5 last week for shits and giggles, and it was fun to drive, i wont lie. But for the price... you cant beat the V6 mustangs performance.

oooh yes you can. i own a 2004 mazda 6s which has 10 more horsepower, and the best handling of any front wheel drive car short of a mini. i paid $22,000 for it back in 2004, and today the camaro costs $22,000 and has 300 bhp! and the camaro was tuned on the nurburgring, and has proper brakes, so it's not just a straight line car like the mustang is.

Some say Paddles for pussies, so F1 drivers are pussies? I don't think so. But for this car, it's should be Manual only, since it's designed to be so simple and tail happy. For more high perfomance like F430, Paddles anyday.
