Oh well, WNBC today is a basket case of a news operation. Even if they did come up with an open as good as this, none of us would want to stick around for the actual program.
I'd assume since WNBC is NBC's home base that the local WNBC newscasts were done there probably because rennovations were being done on the WNBC studios.
WNBC was undergoing renovations on their set....just beforethey named themselves as newschannel4...also WNBC produced ''today'' and nightly news from their studios in the 40s

why would it be on christmas 1995? It became NBC 4 and newschannel 4 before christmas 1995
