  • where did u get that water pen from?

  • It's very cute!

  • Was it Creed Arms Wide Open? I heard that.

You make that look so easy, I just have no eye for blending and shading. You did a fabulous job.

  • The original song was "Birdhouse in Your Soul" by They Might be Giants.

Have you tried watercolour paper? That makes a huge difference.

  • i like that flower

  • i could never do the shading like that!

  • its so simple.....

  • wait thats really kute but arent bees black and yell0w?

  • OMG so nice!

  • what's the difference between the aqua brush and a blender pen?? don't they both pick up the in and then you transfer it to the paper??

  • Hi cherrygirl, the blender pens are more like markers and I like them best for colouring with chalks/pastels. The aqua brushes and like paint brushes with a built in water reservoir. I like the aquabrushes best for doing watercolouring as the water makes the ink flow beautifully. I find the blender pens much too dry to get the effect that I like. But it's all a matter of personal preference and what kind of colouring effect you are after. It's fun to experiment. Hope that helps.

  • thanks a lot.

  • damn...that thing is freakin awesome, ive heard that this pentel one ur using is the best kind, have you tried any other brush pens, or just this one?

    i'm considering getting one

  • I haven't used any other brands of the water brushes. I love my Pentel ones and highly recommend them. Never had any trouble with any of the ones I own :)

  • Lovely!! Thanks for sharing.

  • ADORABLE! I SO LOVE BEES! LUV THIS DRAWING!!! You are talented!!! ☺☺☺

  • very cool!

  • Which stampin up ink pads are those? Not color wise, I mean dye/craft inks or the water ones?

  • hi gillian, they are the classic/dye ink pads. I don't have any full size craft ones :) hope that helps

  • Thanks, that helps a lot! I wonder if you could use the craft pads for water coloring or if that ink is too thick? By the way, this song is SO catchy! Love it.

  • Hi again gillian :) I have used chalk ink for watercolouring. It's a pigment/craft ink, so I am sure you can try craft pads and get a good result. I love that song too :D

  • Aw that lil bee turned out so cute! Great job! And I see you used the Cuttlebug to emboss the card, woot! Hee hee, that's a funny song playing. :D

  • where do you get that watercolor thing?

  • it's an aquapainter made by Pentel. You can get one from a Stampin' Up! demo or at any good craft/art store :)

  • Cuteeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the video! I love your technique (it's so detailed and effective)!

  • and...do you buy like one tube per 5 years lol
