Nice job! I've played this game more than one hundred of times and my brother was able to beat Biff once, too. Now try to leave Germany by plane without getting shot down by the nazi aircraft, and you will have totally mastered this game!
Since it was very very hard to beat him (which I couldn't finish him) I was really expecting him to have something and after beating him we can take it from him, something interesting like laser gun or something
@Daniel4646 I once wrote down a list with all answers to pass all the guards save Biff and sent it down to a magazine, but they didn't publish the list, and I didn't thought of making any copy beforehand. :-(
I haven't tried to beat him after this fight. It took me so many tries to do this that I wasn't very eager to try to beat him again very soon (except maybe for a multi-segment speed run).
If I remember right, I entered the castle the noisiest possible way: fighting every guard I saw. That makes some of the guards patrolling in the corridors of the second and third floor run towards you even if they don't see you. Before I recorded this, Sigfried had already run by Biff to confront Indy and eat his knuckles.
In Fact, in my original version of the game, Biff moves much faster forward if indy goes back, regains health much faster, and his punches damage Indy much stronger (3 hits and indy's down). The version I have is also PC version 2.0, VGA 256 color.
1. The original version is 16 colored (EGA). However, I doubt its game play differs from the one of this version.
2. The speed of any opponent changes between fights (sometimes also radically in the middle of a fight), as does the ability block, and likely also many other properties. To beat the sober Biff, he must move with approx. with his normal speed, not too fast and not too slow. (BTW Biff's ability to block should be low, because if he blocks even one powerful punch, the fight is lost.)
3. You probably remember Biff's recovery speed wrong. Maybe it seems slow to you when I use a highly optimized strategy that makes the effect of Biff's high recovering speed as low as possible. I avoided wasting my power recovery on average powered punches or waiting with full power bar and tried to make Biff's short yellow bars useless. When a direct hit does instantly more dmg than the yellow bar has hp, the yellow bar will be lost and skipped like there had only been the green vitality bar.
Near the end of this fight I actually did one quite bad mistake: I punched unnecessarily early, without full power, so the yellow bar didn't get skipped. A full powered punch would have done approx. double the damage. I'm happy that mistake didn't ruin the fight.
4. Biff beats Indy with three punches if they hit directly. However, Indy can block eight punches of Biff's without fainting.
this can't be real. that game was manipulated in some way. i managed to beat the ticket taker a few times, although that's already hard. but beating biff when he's not drunk is impossible without manipulating the game.
"One doesn't get any IQ points from beating the sober Biff, even though beating him when he's drunken gives you 15 points. Beating the ticket taker in LC or Arnold in FoA gives 10 points, and special 7 points to the total IQ points are given in FoA when one beats Fritz and then activates the guard robot. I think this means that the fight against the sober Biff wasn't meant to be winnable (not even by a very advanced player), unlike all the other tough fights in these two games."
THAT WAS BOSSLIKE !!

In the game I've managed to pass almost all the guards - except Muscles here - only with conversations.

Unglaublich. Das hast Du sehr gut gemacht.

There should be a soldier in the corridor at the bottom after Biff (where you enter the room).
Where is he ?
