I liked Wamp years ago but the lie about term limiting his self and the lying about Bill Haslam have sadly changed my mind. I'm tired of the lying. He even pulled one right out of the demon-o-crats bag of bullshit by playing the class envy card and whining about the Haslam family money. Did Reagan do things like that? Is that what we should consider conservative values? I think not.
I dont care what the vicious leftists say, hes a gr8 man who stood by our troops in Iraq when the war was in its "darkest days", 5/07 as the despicable democRAT traitors sought 2 cut-off funding (Vietnam-style) & end the war. Rep Zach Wamp walked 2 the podium
"..let's make sure they (our troops) have what they need. Let's NOT give up here! We dont need anothr Somalia, we dont need anothr Beirut, we dont need 2 lose this war! We need 2 stay...& come out w/ our head up."
Being from Chattanooga, I was ashamed to have Zach Wamp as my representative for all those years, maybe his appathetic, ultra conservative agenda caused his loss. Good riddens Zach Wamp.
@dap1979 Well... if you were that 'ashamed' then you should have moved away, prick! Zach Wamp is a Godly, respectable, and intelligent man. I wish I could sat that about Mr. Haslam...
@SDtrojan32, you CAN say that about Mr. Haslam because he IS a Godly, respectable, intelligent man. In fact, he's so respectable and so Godly that he didn't shamelessly put his faith in the spotlight during the campaign for political gain. Find one person that REALLY knows Bill Haslam and see if they can say a negative thing about him personally or professionally. You'll have a really hard time.
Almost 90% of Knoxvillians voted for him on his second term. There is a reason.
@stuharris Shamless? Since when is being 'shameless' about your faith a bad thing? Bill Haslam is a snobby rich boy who knows VERY little about the workings of state government. He sits on the fence over many issues because he honestly doesn't know enough to make solid decisions. I think you would have a hard time finding a time when Haslam gave a definite 'yes' or 'no' when asked his opinion on financial issues at the state level. He's either an idiot or a coward...I'm not sure which...
You conservatives are really going to have a time keeping your party once the baby boomers are gone.
