the 4D Snobike is designed to attach to full suspension and ridged mountain bikes it attaches to the front forks and rear chain stays using a inter changeable axle and will also adapt to the 18'' and up tire size bikes. Sorry the 4D Snobike is still on the design table, as we are working on funding for the production. Please hang on to your bars! :D
@jjswimmer2014 , The breaks of your bike and wheels gives a good amount of breaking power and the depth of the tire is adjustable for various snow conditions. The snow condition will determine the amount of tire breaks and or climbing traction that is available, you can always feel and have the traction of the tires, With the tire skiboard edge you also have the edge breaks to drift for stopping on the steep! The stability allows you to never take your feet off the pedals also. Enjoy :D
@soxmeh2 soxmeh2, The Name came into play when I was first called Dare Devil Darin, later Double Dare Devil Darin came up, and after a few nights of riding the 1st prototype and being asked what do I call the thing, I thought well 4D works, The Next Dimension in Snow bikes! And as friends call me D and this being what I was working on for de' snow bike. IDea's also spinning of other 4D enjoyment, 4D All also!
Great concept.. I've seen some of the complicated contraptions others have come up with, like the ones with snowmobile type drive.. this looks far better.. how about the cross-country ski aspect?.. seems like a better fit to me than downhill. Anyway, great job!
