I've shot my 12g Mossberg with 00 buck and slug, using a Knoxx breacher grip. It definitely does reduce felt recoil and actually impacted kick as I was able to aim using the bead sight and still have my teeth. The trick is to keep your non-firing elbow straight but not locked. Plus not having sissy grip helps. Good vid.
maybe somebody could help me... on my FACTORY mossberg 500 i want to attach a sling but it has NO sling mounts. i want to know how to put mounts on the STOCK and BARREL.... please help
Thanks for all the safety awareness. It is certainly nothing to brush off. We do a ton of tactical training and 3-gun matches, so the "hot" weapon occurs often. It seems OK when it's yours, but not so hot when someone else you don't know well is doing it. When we train, it's like we fight. So the safety is off most of the time on the range. That finger is the most likely way to make the gun go Boom. Criticism is encouraged as long as it's constructive. SD
I'll take the safety issue under advisement. We tend to practice like we fight, fight like we practice. The vest or other gear could lodge in the trigger and fire the gun. In most cases the gun would be empty (reason for letting go) but not always. This video wasn't done to promote sporting use of the shotgun, but instead the tactical use in a violent encounter. Safety is relative to other factors and I don't mean to down play the safety aspects in the slightest. Thanks, SD
@BrassKnuckleBlackout yeah unsafe but you know the likelihood of something grabbing the trigger and yanking back on it after the safety getting disengaged somehow is slim to none when he is just standing there>.>

I guarantee I wouldn't trust the safety to let it swing down towards my feet...

I can't believe you let it hang freely knowing it was chambered. That's just unsafe practice. Other than that, nice.

@BrassKnuckleBlackout The safety was engaged, the gun was pointed in a safe direction. What's the problem?
