i went on the rollachoster with my bffl and when we parked at the parking lot all u saw was a HUDG rollachoster and i said i am NOT going on that and when we saw the map it looked like a kitte rides so i said lets go on it and when we got there it was soo big and i got on it like 5 mins later we go to the top i saw the car ob the oppiset side where we were and there is a little bump at first and then i am like ok its not that bad and we went like OMG when we were done i was like lets go again

@eat121999 No, Sheikra is a B&M Dive Machine, this is a B&M Hypercoaster, with almost no similarities. Saying that any rollercoaster manufactured by the same company and owned at the same park chain is a 'rip-off', is quite ridiculous, particularly as these two rides have little in common. You were probably thinking of Griffon, but that is the same coaster family as SheiKra anyway, so neither can be fairly considered a rip-off of the other.

@eat121999 Apollo's Chariot is unique to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It has no sister coaster in BG Tampa. And Griffon is not a rip off of SheiKra since they are both B&M coasters in sister parks owned by SeaWorld. They did the same thing with Montu and Alpengeist. They're just providing similar experiences for people who only have access to one park or the other.

@Passon4 it wasn't right afterwards but a few days later, he ended up having an aneurysm or something with his brain. I'm not a doctor so idk what it is but it was basically a blod clot in his brain and its possible the thrashing from the roller coaster could have dislodged it. Its sad but unexpected as hell. His friends runs his youtube site for him now and they started a charity for him too, I'll try and get the name of the site its got the whole story on it.

@middlegirl97 FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, do not get on this ride if this is your first time on a rollercoaser. This is the BEST and SCARIEST ride at Busch Gardens, so I definitely think you should get on it. But if you're easily nervous about rides, I recommend getting on something--not so scary--first.

But you can't go to Busch Gardens without getting on it!

@TSMPimpDaddyPain I'm not afraid of heights, so the Griffon doesn't do it for me. Sure, when sitting in the front it's a really pretty sight, but since you hang there it takes away from the drop. The only time the Griffon is a little scary is when I sit in the back, because I get whiplash when it drops. I think Apollo's Chariot's scarier because, eh,I'm not sure! It just seems faster and the 1st drop (well, technically second) is the most thrilling drop I've ever experienced. Besides Drop Zone.

I have a little bit of an issue with heights....so to me the slow ride up, slow right turn, and 5 second hang would be a little brutal. Add to that, the outside 3-4 people on each side have no track or car below them, just dangling feet.

Apollo is a great ride and is a little scary, going airborne with your butt off the seat on some of the drops is a little spooky. But at least you're on the track and have some footing underneath you ;)

This was the first coaster i ever road. I went on with my dad ( LOL ). and we were going up and i kept saying DAD. WE R GOING TO DIE. This is one of the best hyper-coasters in the US. Goes 73 mph and hits 4 g's. You gotta get in the front seat and just say fuck it, I trust the safety equipment. Make sure you're locked in and put your hands in the air to really enjoy coasters like this. Once you trust the equipment it's really fun. I've ridden this coaster dozens of times over the years, one of my favorites.

I still remember this like it was yesterday and it was over 4 years ago. The group before us got the "last ride of the night" but no one left. The security guards said they would stay open for the remainder of us and I sat front row. It was the smoothest roller coaster I've ever been on... The view from the first mini 2 ft drop made my heart stop then it was like pitch black and all I remember we were goin so fast that my contacts like moved to the side of my eyes LOL. awesome ride

Griffon has the tallest lift hill @ 205 feet with a drop about high but Apollo's chariot has the bigger drop @ 210 with a 170 foot lift hill.

Thank you for posting this video! I've been on more than 100 coasters (I'm in ACE) .... and Apollo's Chariot is my absolute favorite (over all of Cedar Point and 6Flags Magic Mountain, etc). UNFORTUNATELY, I've gotten too fat to ride my favorite coaster.... and now I've "ridden" vicariously through your video. I"ll enjoy watching... which will help me remember why I want to lose weight!  :)
