  • 289's ftw my 76 ford truck has one theres never been a better sounding stock engine

  • Sounds wicked! My dads got a 65 289. Drive it open headers to the muffler shop cause the header was crooked and we couldn't put the exhaust on. It was freakishly awesome. Suggested keeping it open but dad wouldn't approve... Wicked car!

  • @SuperKONR Dads never approve of that sort of thing.

  • @thissitesucks74 lol yeah he would've been pulled over by every cop in the city when he drove it to work :P It burns out the valves faster too cause they do that in the drags but they replace the engine after every few runs.

  • @SuperKONR I'd say it depends on the outside temperature too. Cold temp outside and i would be a little worried about my valves. But on a hot day i dont think i would worry. I dont believe the whole replacing the engine after every few runs. Depends on what kinda drag cars your talking about i guess!

  • @89z28 Ahh, well it gets up to 120F where I live so I guess it's all good!

  • That's one badass mustang! My 1966 coupe with a 351W & T5 is coming together quickly, i'll post vids
