D: I go into the Mine of Cathuriges (not sure if that's how it's spelled, haven't played it in forever) and the screen just pops up all "The disc could not be read. Blah blah blah.." Which is a shame, 'cause I've never beaten this game. D: I miss seeing those funny scenes with Bal Dat and the Striped Brigands.

get 4 gbas and play 4 players. then when u get inside a level take out the gbas and connect ur gamecube controls. now u can always play 4 players with gamecube controls . just never go to set out in the menu. then the game knows it was tricked and takes out everyone with gamecube controls. also i recommend if u do this to still have some1 use a gba so u can switch controls and see ur armor and stuff

I personally think two players is too frustrating because you can't go as fast and there's only one person to ward of enemies if your'e trying to escape.
I hated the hearts system. You needed a pocket of some sort to get command list extras, and pendants to increase yout health. The levelup system flowed more smoothly, and I am glad Ring of Fates uses it.
And considering we get to fight this boss again, high replay value!
Love the music in this game. I always wanted to do multiplayer but we didn't have the gameboy connectors...I thought that was the dumbest way to have the multiplayer set up

The music and graphics of this game made it very memorable. Loved it, even though setting up a full team was EXPENSIVE. Hopefully there's a sequel in the works that will utilize the wi-fi of the DS... I don't remember if there is or not though.
I prefer the tall guys (havent played in SOOO long). They have the best defence lol. if you have a movie for the Cave place on the island or the maze place, please tell me! Im stuck there.

okay, i get the logic it doesn't work because you are currently using the gamecube to play the gamecube game, but I got a theory that just might work.
what if.... you had two gamecubes and one gameboy advance connected to the one gamecube and another cord was connected to the gameboyplayer, now that just might work!

I recently beated this in the year 5, that was hard (specialy in the boss 'cuz it used tundaga or something like that, and later when i was palarized he used slow, and you can't evade the tundaga 'cuz the attack rate is almost all the screen, and i only have 6 hearts) but i don't died!!! and i use the fuse weapons, 'cuz they're best than the normals...at least, it wast hard, i dindt haved time to see somentthing else 'cuz i will die, at least i dont die :D
they do have a FF online game but u gotta pay for it and its on a disc so u gotta buy it a wal mart or somethin =( i hope one comes out for free and kinda like this 1
if you want to play this game in multiplayer you need a gamboy in order to do so you have to have: a gamboy and a gba cord to connect to the game cube in order to play

no, you would need an adapter since the GC-GBA Connector plug is too big for the Micro. You can make your own connectors tho, just google.

wow, no offense but you guys are way beyond rusty. Dying in this stage is just downright embarassing.

I recently beated this in the year 5, that was hard (specialy in the boss 'cuz it used tundaga or something like that, and later when i was palarized he used slow, and you can't evade the tundaga 'cuz the attack rate is almost all the screen, and i only have 6 hearts) but i don't died!!! and i use the fuse weapons, 'cuz they're best than the normals...at least, it wast hard, i dindt haved time to see somentthing else 'cuz i will die, at least i dont die :D

they do have a FF online game but u gotta pay for it and its on a disc so u gotta buy it a wal mart or somethin =( i hope one comes out for free and kinda like this 1

if you want to play this game in multiplayer you need a gamboy in order to do so you have to have: a gamboy and a gba cord to connect to the game cube in order to play

I <3 this game! I'm only in year five though.
I've beaten 9 bosses..
The way to get to the boss always seems ten times harder than actually fighting the boss.
The crab is so annoying and easy to beat..

This game was pretty good in the beginning. But it gets boring fast when you play alone. Why couldnt they have allowed the option of playing with just a regular controller T-T

So that way they made more money. Also the fact that you change your settings on the GBA wihtout disrupting the game. Though that isnt really nifty.

Well, I havent played in a while and I still haven't uploaded the other 3 levels we have done. ^-^; Well if I ever stop playing FF XI now with my friend and we get back to Chronicles i'm pretty sure we will finish it.
