thats what i was looking at too on the pipe plus on 3/4 of the 250s the fattest part of the pipe is right after it curls and on 125s the upper part is fatter. If you know your 2-stroke bikes you would understand. Plus a 250 sounds alot deeper than that, that sounds like my yz 125
a powerband is not a physical thing nor is it something special to 2 strokes, it is simply a term for the range of revs in an engine where it makes peak power. it is most noticable on most 2 strokes though due to there peaky nature because of the expansion chamber
hate to break it to u its a yz 125 look at the expansion chamber at about 12 secs to 15 secs. 250's wrap around abit the 125's dont if u no ur bikes u will no what im talking about. and its obviously a yamaha cause of the plastics
wow, i love how people think a powerband is 2 stroke only. well its not u dumb shits, its not like a 2 stroke motor has a rubberband in it that kicks in, its just where the engine is at peak power, four strokes have a powerband too! wow
the powerband is something special 2 the 2 strokes the powerband is the point that u hit where the engine hits a certain rpm and is where the engine makes most its power if your not in the powerband on a 2 stroke than ur not using the engine... 2 its full extent at least..

i could tell it was a 2 stroke by the engine sound...but i didnt hear the powerband...he mustve shifted b4 it kicked in
