woooah, i couldnt do even half of that with that speed,although i only played that when i was like 9-12 yr old :F still recently played it once but that would be too much,my brain is to slow,at first i was like "wtf is he doing,ignoring some easy scores" but then "oooooh..." XD
Hey that's pretty cool. Unfortunately I don't have the original video anymore. I will say this though: I give my word that this was done in a single run with no pauses, no save states, and no video editing of any kind whatsoever. I was just sitting by myself one day and decided to start playing. I didn't think I would get very far, but once I actually started to seriously push my high score up, I decided to start recording. I wish I had recorded the whole thing.
You do realise that this score is about 4x higher than the record on Twin Galaxies. If you were able to verify it was legit and used the appropriate modes you could easily hold the record.
It might be worth looking at it. Apparently DVD is an approved method of verification.
The record was set at 1,072,319 points, 3 days after this was posted. I don't know if you had any relevance to that.
my wife has been playing for about an hour and 15 mins. She just pushed past level 113 with over 5,000,000 points and 5700 gems.
