is it reasonable to sue everyone for everything they do wrong, absolutely not. Is it reasonable that Sony comp. 2-3 months of the PSN and pay any incurred damages from the breach...yes. The real issue with the PSN breach is the post media frenzy potential damage. A lot of the information stolen could easily be used for Identity theft. If that occurs 2-3 year after the breach then what?
You have to admit money amounts lost thats like $0.01 to $500.00 is something regularly seen as not enough to pay more than you lost for court fee's and lawyer etc.
These low amounts that are always just forgotten and no action taken DOES add up to a lot, if it happens to many people within different situations.
$50.00 dollars to someone with low income is like $100.00 - $200.00 dollars. I think there should be new courts that allow free rulings at no charge.

At the end of it all, the final number for people who potentially had their credit card information seen was only around 900, each of which Sony provided with a 1 million dollar insurance policy for if things went south. Yet, theres thousands of class action lawsuits. You do the math, things do not add up. It's obvious that a bunch fat lazy cows just want a quick buck from Sony, so I say fuck them. Sony provides us with a free network, and there's no reason for those assholes to use it.

Sony 6-K page 24 for the month of August 2011. All companies publicly traded on the stock market must file a prospectus with the SEC at least every quarter. Information like this is available to the public.
The whole Concept of TOS is such a flawed system! It basically mean that companies (often big MNC) can do whatever they please, regardless of whether or not it is good for the consumer, if it makes them more money it gets added. And if the Joe Soap consumer doesn't agree with the TOS, there really isn't anything they can do except not (in the case of Sony) play the games they paid for . . . .

@HellisListening1 Also marketing people of gaming spend more than 10 times the amount of money needed to create a game on marketing so for a game that costs 10 million to make, another 90 million is spent so that idiots like you would buy the original! At the end of it all, the final number for people who potentially had their credit card information seen was only around 900, each of which Sony provided with a 1 million dollar insurance policy for if things went south. Yet, theres thousands of class action lawsuits. You do the math, things do not add up. It's obvious that a bunch fat lazy cows just want a quick buck from Sony, so I say fuck them. Sony provides us with a free network, and there's no reason for those assholes to use it.

Sony 6-K page 24 for the month of August 2011. All companies publicly traded on the stock market must file a prospectus with the SEC at least every quarter. The whole Concept of TOS is such a flawed system! It basically mean that companies (often big MNC) can do whatever they please, regardless of whether or not it is good for the consumer, if it makes them more money it gets added. And if the Joe Soap consumer doesn't agree with the TOS, there really isn't anything they can do except not (in the case of Sony) play the games they paid for . . . .
