  • take music and add kick and snare?

i want do better. where do i get all the samples from, how do i make them

  • i just bought one of these at a garage sale real cheap but the catch is it jad no cables or manuals whatsoever.. i was just wondering what cables i would need to connect it to my computer?

  • thats what its all about man big ups.. u use ur tools very well

  • Do you need software for the mpc?

  • I like the beat! good job man

  • all you haters don't know what ur talking about.............who uses the mpc2000??????????????????????????? maybe um yeah..............FREAKING DOMINO OF FREAKING HIEROGLYPHICS.................Which just happens to be the best underground hip hop crew in the history of music.................this kids trying................so i'm eight minutes in and i'm like yeah great music............so f all the haters this kids TRYING something they might not do making MAINSTREAM music......lol

  • Fuck what they say, You made a good beat, check my new one in the profile called Se Acabo ;)

  • this beat had so much potential but its kinda shit

  • imma flip this super hard.

  • Check out Eddie Pesos-Greatness. Beat produced by DopeSessed

  • I had one of these for a few years but ended up selling it when i got sony Acid Pro.

the only thing it's good for is sampling and drum beats and some bass stuff. You cant do any synth or anything like that, and they just set you up to buying more accessories like the fx card and expanding the memory. it only had a lowpass filter and you couldnt do pitch bends on long notes. I'm definelty more satisfied with acid pro and my Roland MC307

  • @TheWaynelds couldn't you just edit the beat on a DAW like Logic Pro? or no?

  • @Slackademics Im sure you could. i never used Logic before. I use Sony Acid Pro, which can do something like that.

  • GIVE ME THE MPC ..shit

  • i thought it was dope. niggas are hate'n dude. thats when u know ur doing somthing rite.

  • @djmalue1 ...you know your doing something right when people tell you it sucks??? smh...

  • yeah this is good for all those hating this is how you do it. if you find a dope sample dont do too much to it. keep it simple if its dope

  • Download the song :D

  • 5 beats a day for three summers

  • I think it's a very good beat! One of the better ones that I've seen on Youtube. The haters are just mad kuz they want to make trap beats all day long. LOL! People have a hard time understanding the power of simplicity, and how complex it can actually be. That imho separates the great memorable beats from the thousands of other sub par beats made, that have all the right tools, and the correct elements, but not quite the right instincts or understanding.

  • your hands look so frail

  • that beat sounds sooo garbage

  • this is not even that bad why is everyone hatin? its not great but its not horrible.

  • beat is aight don't listen 2 the haters not bad dude

  • another gay soundclick beat

  • with equipment that you have, i could be the best producer in the world.. damn' idiots

  • the master at work. an awesome video thanks for showing us how you do your thing captain.

  • hey im a newb, how did u export the sequence to logic

  • how would i be able to put sounds from my computer into the mpc, is there a usb input or something?

  • @MrDaZe5 Try using FPC on fruity loops :)

  • Comment removed

  • @MrDaZe5 e retarde moj

  • @TheSenseiSd prosvetli me

  • @MrDaZe5 glup si

  • @TheSenseiSd Znam da je ono bilo mnogo glupo pitanje i zato sam uklonio komentar ali ti nisi morao onako da reagujes.

  • Which sample is that ?

  • what vst do you use to play bassline?

  • Which program are you using?

  • are you recording into logic through an interface or midi usb?

  • jaisu made this same exact beat? lame

  • @TSTACKSPAPER kinda different, I like jaisu's better this one is too repetitive imo. both heat though, guess im just used to jaisu's flip.

  • @wholewheatpita yeah i agree. they're both real real similar though.

  • The 70's had such badass drum breaks. Where would Hip Hop be without it?

  • bulshit beat

  • Die Base Drum hast du übertrieben verkakkt alta und die snare erst recht du KANNST ES NICHT !!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • what is the first beat ....the intro part oid the video..i know the song but i cant remeber the name...

  • fuckin harrrrrrrrrrrd !!!! gyeah !

  • Dope!

  • Awesome sample top notch

  • you should change the kicks

  • @YoungPoleInOldReekie the mpc as an input where you can record directly the sounds into the memory, and later save them

  • u should add some reverb on the drums so it could lock in more with the sample

  • Sample is

If You're Gonna Love Me- The Drifters

  • what drum kit are you using off logic?

  • you made a nice sample into a bad beat

  • @MrSpexo why? the beat sounds better than some other beats on youtube... i like it!

  • @MrSpexo totally, the sample he used had such potencial to turn into a good beat..

  • sample???

  • what's the name of the first song (backround music) ???

  • That's right Bad Beat !! you have a good inspiration !!! blesss

  • shut the fuck up about the sample name. he took time to find it, you should too.

"you can gimmie some head, keep the breakfest in bed, ratha spend my mornin diggin through some records instead. "

  • MPC APPROVED!!

  • its perfect man

    respect

this way i like beats :D

  • U've inspired me just now but the way u make it )

  • MPCS WERE EVEN OUT IN THE FUCKIN 70s

  • @butterbal36 DJ Premier actually! Pete Rock was rocking the SP1200 back in the days....

Butterballs - I've cared about my MPC since the fucking 70's.

  • @Dottin they made in the 70s thr fuu :O!?

  • @butterbal36 I think you're the only one lol

  • thnx4 da video very useful

  • wats the name of the song u sampled?

  • FRESH!!! thanks for sharing!

  • Did you produce beat on the intro aswell ?

  • You made the intro aswell ??

  • Hi :)

I found it a kind of sloppy m8..

you need some more precision on the rythm.!

But besides that: awesome samples, nice flow! i like that its funky and oldschool at the same time!

Your idea is great..! better than most of the other beats on youtube!

    Keep it up! ;)

  • @AMBeatss who the fuck are you? this shit is fire

  • @Miturs

    thats your openion m8 ;)

  • @Miturs LOL!

  • This is a GREAT video and the music is dope.

  • watch jaisu flip this sample

  • thanks

  • You haven't helped me learn, you just showed that you can do it for 10 mins.

  • people it don't matter if beat is hot or not...

    1. how you connec turntables to MPC

    2. How you record into logic with each track on the mpc coming into an individual track on logic.

I got pretty much same set up with no MPC and gonna buy one pretty soon.

  • very nice well done

  • Dat shit got me tryin to freestyle Bro!!!!!!

  • This is why i need to get my MPC wroking... I got an Akai 2000xl with no screen in it and i can't buy one... Now I feel Sad. Good job man.

  • @solominded247 how much you want for it?

  • @solominded247 Got an mpc 2000xl for parts for sale mpc works just pads dont! shout me up if interested

  • instead of the whole equipment you should have buy a feeling for rhythems

  • Ok...This video is one of my favorite now.

    It's awesome.

    Good job

  • JustBlaze would have made babies with that sample!!!

  • nice engeneiring skills...cool sample dot eyes check tees

  • Could you tell me what did u use to record from the turntable to the mpc,and from the mpc to logic?

  • how do you record with logic?

  • hey i gotta question ...lets say im makin my whole beat in the MPC with no software how would i put a sound in the chorus thats not in the verse? like im kinda confused on that

  • nice work!

  • ... .

  • jaisu killed this sample this guy just looped it, what the fuck?

  • this waz fire

  • i dunno what yall are talkin about, this beat is deadly. nice work mang. hollar if you need mc's to kill'em

  • howd he fuck up the 4th bar breakdown was dope...i mean it was nothin to lose sleep over but it was legit

  • yeah its a good beat

  • This video is a perfect example of why sampling vinyl is overhyped, overdone, overworked, and outdated technique.

  • yO how much did your MPC2000 and turntables cost? And where can i buy it?

  • ass pt. 2

  • nice, but if you plan to ever make it for commercial use, you better get permission or make it sound a little more original than the authors to where they can't notice the small chopped piece

  • hey... i like it.

  • ass

  • Fuck the haters, this is a good beat. Not the most complex sample, but not all samples need to be complex.

  • This dudes aight. Hit up my page if your lookin for some software to do dis type of shit on, I got some of my own beats on there too

  • Is this really the best beat you could have used as an example?

  • I must say few things, cause i'm getting irritated on those comments. Ok the beat isn't some superb etc., but you guys are complaining about that, he used a sample, that is actually a loop and plays the whole song. But one question... what about for example "Work" by DJ Premier? "Tuu doo" "tuu doo" and the piano fun, and that's the whole beat + some h-hats,snares n kicks. I don't want to fight with anyone, but geez just because he don't look like premo, doesn't mean that he's a retard... .

  • @oDJOldskull As long as you have fun :D That's the main key!

  • @MegaG15 Word. Nothing else matters like this. If you don't getting fun from what you are doing - you're just cheating on yourself and wasting your and others time. BUT if you really love what you do, you will progress very quickly and make all those haters jaws down to their shitholes.

  • overall is good but it has a few tweeks here and there!!

  • @GGGiL00 After me its much better to loop the Original melody rather than making stupid chops that just sound poorly cut if you know what I mean. This beat is cool. Period

  • i like the beat

    fuck the haters

  • Yo i cnt lie they OD'd on you, it def has some bad parts but overall i think its pretty ill...

  • Man Keep it but you got a long way before you reach AraabMuzic's level

  • white boys are a disgrace to the rap industry and make it look bad.

  • @CertifiedBeatzz

Have you never heard of Exile?

  • thats what you get, when rich kids with no feel for hiphop buy the most expensive equipment.

    respect to the drifters.

  • @TheDeepSounds True stories nigga

  • dope ! can you please tell me the name of the song with the melody at 00:31, peace

  • exelent!!!!

  • yo im gonna fuk dis sample up i got an idea different from dis

  • Couple of tips:

Fucking dope sample, could be a bit slower and you need way harder kicks and better snares and hi hats etc.

  • Well done!

  • great beat !!!!! what is the name of this song????? this ist from The Drifters, but what

  • nice! can u sell sampled beats if they sound a little different?

  • i'll buy the akai mpc 2000xl, msg me

  • I LIKE IT.. PRETTY DOPE NOT BAD...

  • i cnt sync my MPC 2000xl with my Logic 8 at all anybody kno how 2? please help

  • that beat suck for real i can't heard some shit like this it's very annoying

  • I Think You Could Have Gone Alot Of Other Ways And Done More With The Sample. To Me, It Sounds Too Modernized. Like It Wasnt True To The Spirit Of The Sample. I Liked Where It Was Going In The Beginning, It Was More Raw, It Had More Soul, But I Guess We All Rep Beats Differently. But Still, Mad Props On This Beat Bro, All And All, You Got Skills And An Ear For Sampling. Good Job Man.

  • fuck these haters bro that shit is tight keep doin ya thang

  • loser...

  • i think the part starting right when u stopped the record was way better.. but still okay

  • Bad beat

  • @evilman111111 how is it bad yall suck

  • fuck this is kool !!!! nice sampling

  • 04:02 what a fuckin nerd

  • whats the song in the beginning?

  • @sugarbuttercup1

The song in the beggining is from the Italian horror film "The Beyond" soundtrack

I think the track is called "Sleepless". Necro already sampled it for "Them"

    Check out Necro -Them

  • dude is GARBAGE!

  • maaaaan..u got a dope sample..but you´ve fukked up

  • @shimmyshimmy83 LMAO i agree, no offense like i cant believe theres this many plays , (currently) one hundred seventeen thousand six hundred fifty eight watched this guy loop a sample...haha ima look for this shit and dop the shit out of it!

  • @shimmyshimmy83 how is it bad yall suck

  • @shimmyshimmy83 totalllyyyy agreee....sample is raw!..thats what its all about

  • yo, what's up when I sync my mpc2000xl to my pro tools, in I solo my tracks out in record them, I dont get all of the very begining of the track, I dont kn if you kn about pro tools, but do you kn what that could be? Thx..

  • @khi098 you got to put a blank 2 bar sequence at the same tempo in the beginning in song mode so when yo sequence start every thing will start right or just let it go then cut off the first 2 bars

  • lol i used that sample b4

  • this beat sucks... yuck...

  • dude if ur just gonna loop some shit get FL save the pads for real chops

  • Everyone Uses FL......

  • Is that the mpc 2000 or mpc 2000 xl? Because I know you can't timestretch on the mpc 2000.

  • He Uses Logic

  • ufo finger :O hehehehehe:D

  • fuck weez jigga and jadakiss

  • well put 2gether- how much harder would it be to program the fill ins w/ logic alone- many who have great DAW programs still insist on gettin an MPC - is it because of the speed of track construction?

  • Listen man, i jus got a mpc 2000 off ebay. It works perfectly and all but i hav no idea how to use dis shit. If anyone can get me up to basics it wud b greatly appreciated. I dont even know where to start. I tried online for a user manual but it said i needed to find a 64bit version to run on my computer. WtF duz dat mean?

  • download the user manual...google it.

or watch a you tube video that helps you navigate the user screens.

once you learn what most things do on each screen you can then start to hack away at sampling beats and cutting ideas together...

that machine is old but so much fun.

  • hit me up on the inbox i'll help u out

  • dreambeatz . com

  • hey man cant you do a tutorial video off you mpc ?? ,

  • are u sequencing with logic or the mp
