when i am garbage matting why does the mouse begin moving in a circle (like it does when it loads on a mac)? i cannot see when the points intersect then. i am not happy with this program because i expected the greenscreen to work better and the editing to be fast (not freeze every frame)

problem is the tutorials suck. 4 hours now and I still cant get a key happening in Vision lab studio however in Adobe ultra it takes less than 5 minutes.

just click the chroma key, get it how you like it. then blur it. not that hard

i figured it out. you have to go to the media tab in the upper right corner and hit the folder icon . than you just upload it . the price for this info is that you have to watch all my vids! XD

to add backgrounds, i just uploaded them, then randomly draged them to the time line... but u have to do that AFTER u get the green screen stuff set up :)

i bought creation station too and thought it was crap too. You can use the green screen that it came with. It's fairly big and it works great. I use it all the time and have no trouble with it.

when I capture the video with my camera (I have a blue background) the rest of the image becomes red! someone could tell me why this happens? CompositeLab and VisionLab allow you to apply multiple filters. The screen doesn't need to be perfect because you have so many tweaking optioins

probably not because green is the furthest colour away from skin tones. thats why there's blue and green screens (:

What are you using to key out the green? A chroma-key? Value key? All the technique lies in adjusting the knobs.

It'll detect skin tones and delete them. When you key out a color, it'll key out all bits of that color unless you're re-matting or using a mask. Green and blue are used because those colors are rarely seen on a person.

Any digital camera will work. The video quality however will be more affected by the camera than the editor.

FXhome CompositeLab has a function called Masking that lets you remove the areas you don't want.
