I just saw her today at the Nashville airport and she looks amazing! BTW, go "like" her FB page. She is donating .25 to the homeless for the every "like" she gets.
This song came out the year I graduated from high school. I think "I Hurt For You" did also. Two great songs by a very talented lady. Deborah, you've still got it!
Deb's still in great voice, here! Wonder how she picked 'Allen', for a stage surname. I always thought 'Thurmond' sounded alright. Deb's studio version hit #26 in Billboard, 1-21-84. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great week!
Yep, great legs! And yes, those back up singers need to get into it and the sound man needs to turn them up. The drummer is VERY good. Tight. The lead guitar player looks like an old Roy Orbison! He's good, but let's keep him behind the curtain. I will say that the girl back up singer is hot, hot, hot! Sometimes these young Nashville back up players don't realize that singers like Debbie Allen were once very famous. They should do their homework and learn how to make it on their own.
Her voice is still golden!! love it:)

CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!
I LOVED this song when it was a hit in the mid eighties and this 2009 video is WAY BETTER than I would have imagined.
I'm 52 now (May, 2011) and Deborah Allen is 57 but I think I just fell in
love with her again.
