That was a joke, Gavin DeGraw called into the show on Payton's 16th birthday earlier this year(Al had him in the studio that day) and referred to Payton as "her" multiple times. Kidd asked everyone not to correct him during the call and everyone burst out laughing because Al said he was close to Gavin and got him to call in.
