This is very sad indeed, for all. With such a limited range of thinkers on the Middle East surrounding him, how can we expect any progress on this issue. It is bad for Israel, too. Both sides of this conflict need to feel safe and hopeful, not just the Israelis. And the group that Obama is surrounding himself with is only concerned about one side. That means failure once again... and no peace.

I was really hoping things would change. Now, well... now I don't know anymore. Maybe Obama won't be totally blind-sided during his campaign. Its possible he brought in Emanuel not to forward Emanuel's agenda, but rather to contain it.
