  • woooooooooooooooooh! sounds great!

  • i dont know why the 2 judges didnt like it.. this was awesome , it sounded soo smooth and chill. and yea she should be in broadway :)

  • Se is magnificent!

    MY IDOL!

    Best singer ever on Idol!

    I got Syesha fever!

  • Wow!! That was freaking beautiful!

  • the judges are full of shit paula could never sing nor dance good randy fat ugly ass and simon of course he got something to say about everything be fucking real with the shit this was good ass fuck i hate them her voice is amazing thats the same shit they did to jennifer hudson look where she at bastards

  • The judges really had to lie (on behalf of the producers) to bring Syesha down. I am really disappointed at how AI gets the dumbest viewing audience and is always manipulated by those loser judges. I realize the viewing audience is mostly adolescent girls and gay guys but that doesn't give the judges an excuse to lie just because the producers already promised the top spot to someone else.

  • I know! They really did bring her down. How could Randy say she "sang it amazingly well." And in the other performances Paula and Simon praised her. how could they?

Guys, she had a chance to really make this soulful, put in these runs and stuff. Look at what Chelsea Korka did in the PCD competition. Syesha had enough ability to give it as much power and class chelsea did. She just made an ok arrangement out of it.

  • Well, I've been finding out more how these shows are run now, and how the finalists and winners are already decided on at the beginning. I guess I was about the last to find out but it does explain how all these finalists have agents and professional experience and have done other shows. Regardless, I still think she's super hot looking and I love her legs. I haven't watched AI since she was voted off and that's mainly because there's not much appeal to straight guys on this show.

  • Well Syesha was already a competitor on another show before AI-- but i don't even think its a bad thing. It just shows that these people went after their dream and didn't just do this on a whim. I don't understand the appeal for ppl who don't even try and succeed against those who went on compettions, took vocal lessons, performed on stage and tried to gain experience. Its like ppl are trying to say that they only get one shot and after that they dont deserve second chances.

  • I don't think that's the problem. AI tries to depict these contestants as people with regular jobs. Most are not amateurs, they are professionals and these are pros competing against other pros. That's okay too, but the show shouldn't try to promote it as something else. Also, it would fun to see a show made up of amateurs only.

  • Wow surprising response from Paula and Simon.

I thought they would for sure praise Syesha on tailoring the song to outline her vocal originality. She should have been recognized for this because Syesha totally made this song her own and delivered an authentic and soulful performance.

  • WOW! Amazing performance!!!

And THIS is a perfect demonstration of exactly why I HATE American Idol..... All three of them should have said that she really took a fabulous song, made it her own, performed the heck out of it, AND did a beautiful job vocally! (Some can perform really well but struggle with pitch. This girl does not struggle with anything!) But no. It's all about money and creating drama to keep the ratings up, not about music and musicians/singers/performers.

  • I totally agree that Syesha does not struggle with anything vocally, her voice is just awesome and she sings always in tune! Plus she performs really well! =)

  • Syesha was/is the most beautiful contestant ever on American Idol. Every week she had a different look and was always extremely sexy and super hot. By far the best singer that year with a voice that made me week in the knees. The producers set her up with a terrible final song because they didn't want her in the final two, that's why I don't watch anymore, terribly dishonest show.

  • she's so better than david Cook!!

  • I still get chills from that last note...absolutely awesome.

  • Honestly, does a drunken dimwit like Paula ever have anything coherent to say aside from the script handed to her by the producers?

She tells Syesha the "it doesn't define you" crap for BOTH the second and third performances when weeks earlier, she told her that she was really good with Broadway music.

Sure Simon's a lying tool but at least he makes up something different each time, instead of parroting the same bullshit which makes absolutely no sense.

  • The producers and the judges (by Simon's own admission) wanted a David versus David finale.

Fair enough, but to adopt a double standard and have Syesha reamed by three degenerates is just despicable.

  • I totally think that the producers set up the entire show and that are votes don't really count for anything. If they want to make it fair, have all the voting online where we can view the results in realtime.

  • Behind-the-scenes memo to judges:

When Syesha again gives the best vocals and sexiest performance of the night, either give a good review w/ no enthusiasm (Randy), ramble about something irrelevant (Paula) or be a total, lying jackass (Simon)

  • WORD.

  • The producers of Idol never learn from their mistakes.

They use Paula to try and get rid of Jason Castro which produced disastrous results, and then they do the same thing with Syesha.

    Why are the ratings slipping?

Because people are aware of the fact that the show is a pseudo competition run by sleazy degenerates who manipulate the public into thinking they're voting for the next superstar when in actuality what they're doing is watching the next contrived moment in a crappy reality show.

  • that was perfect!

    haha

  • she was amazing. there was so much talent this season that she kinda got overshadowed. it was a great acomplishment for her to make it this far but well deserved because she was amazing. unfortunately she didnt have much of a chance to make it to the finals over the two davids! David Cook Syesha Brooke Carly!

  • i LOVE this song when syesha sang it. i think brooke white should have won. she was awesome

  • AWASOME

  • I love Syesha, she was great!!!

  • I thought it was excellent. I think she chose the song well because her third song was contemporary.

  • This song fits her!!!!!!!!!! It's REALLLLLLLLY good unlike hit me up she sang... :) I DONT CARE WHAT THE JUDGES SAY BUT SHE SHOULD KEEP ON TRYING!!!!!!!

  • That was amazing.

  • I think they were way too hard on syeasha... She was the bomb!!!!

  • I think Randy is a judge that knows the best about music cuz he records songs so yeh.

  • omg.... i cant believe she got voted off ='[

    she did sooooo good!!!!

wtf is wrong with the judges????? i've never seen them get up on a stage like that with a million ppl watching.......

  • Uhhh really?

  • I can't believe she was eliminated...That was blazing and flaring HOT!!!

  • That was great! What the heck! The judges are totally trying to convince america to vote Syesha off. she is just getting smacked poor girl

  • She was great! SHUT UP, Simon!!! Paula - What's gotten into you???

  • so i just making sure that i wasn't going crazy. Yall know that this was fire.

  • OK, so the judges are absolutely on crack!!!! Like WTF

  • Sorry but she did every singer who sung this justice, she mixed Peggy Lee with Beyonce's version.. it was really good!

  • i totally agree with you ajamaicanparadox1
