In Malta it's still taking off!!!

Uhm we don't do much Halloween costumes yet...the trend is still catching up, but, the tradition is growing stronger each year. We get to visit our relatives or all of us meet in one place and talk about our love ones that past away then we get to visit each one of their resting places and light candles and say prayers for them to be in peace. I admit, it makes our family bond stronger and we learn lots of family history too. How's yours in Malta?

Halloween is still growing here in Malta!!!

On the religious side, similar to you,we celebrate all saints day on the 1st Nov & all souls' day on the 2nd Nov which is the day when we remember all our beloved departed. Many of us visit cemetries & do extra masses in churches for the salvation of souls.
