We've got opticom on all of our traffic lights in town.. (well, minus one but thats due to go in in a few months)... and we use the infrared sensors.. we have problems sometimes because we live in a mountainous region and the infrared transmitter doesn't reach the light because of the angle.. i'm hoping we get the GPS unit first.. can it integrate into say.. an ambulances navigation system?
Yeah. quite a few cities around us have them and they are nice but we have 2 traffic lights in our first due fire district so i don't thing we'll be investing lol

My township has it and it works really good. the lights or the light poles are VERY bright!!!
