The only dark thing in Batman: The Brave and The Bold is that kid Bruce is upset with his parents when they didn't get him the thing he wanted for Xmas and on the same day they go to a movie, Bruce doesn't want to go in the theater because he's still mad at them, they all decided not to see the movie, go into the alley, and then Bruce's parents get killed. So what this show is telling me is Batman's parent got killed on Xmas Day?! That the darkest way to tell the death of Batman's parents EVAH!!

Batman TAS, perfect. The Batman, perfect. Batman: The Brave and The Bold, the worst Batman cartoon EVAH!!!!! I like the fact that Batman teams up with other heroes, and how he interacts with each one, but ... how did we go from a dark but kid friendly show to a too a show that basically the same show except better animation to a show thats bad catch prase after bad jokes.

I kind'a like The Batman series. Like Batman The Animated Series, it little bit dark, but not enough to scare the kids. It's cartoonish, but not enough to mess up the story line. The stories are taken seriously, and not only dose the show have you relate to the main characters, but also the villans and their back stories. You actually feel for them. And The Joker in it is perfect. The design is perfect, his voice is perfect, he is just done right here. The Batman and Batman TAS are the best.

Personally, I like what "The Batman" portrayed the Joker and Harley Quinn's relationship.

Because it actually SEEMS like a relationship, whereas elsewhere it is usually portrayed as mainly one-sided (I will personally forever question the Joker in the New Animated Series where he IGNORES A PROVOCATIVELY DRESSED HARLEY LYING ON HIS EFFING DESK. I know he's ape shit crazy, but COME ON!).

However, I HATE that "The Batman" left out Scarecrow, Two-Face, and a few others.

@GimletWeapon yeah.... i'm considering making fan art featuring those characters, trying to see what they would of looked in this universe. I like Jeff Matsuda's character design for this show. He's the guy who animated Jackie chan adventures.... I think he is a VERY underrated artist.

No, not really. In the original BTAS, Joker saw some use in Harley Quinn and played with her weaknesses to get him out of Arkham. Harley Quinn LOVES Joker, but Joker never felt the same way. He's only using her as a means to an end, and no matter how many times he kicked her out, she always ends up coming back to him in the end. Their relationship is basically an abusive one.

@TheArtificiallyMade i mostly hated the design of it. they made bruce look younger, joker looks weirder than usual, actually all the villains look weird usually. and they made it more kid friendly even though the previous batman shows wasn't and they did great. some of the story was great like bringing in lantern and superman at times but thats about it.

I never did like this version... Harley's too skinny and she's too ditsy and stupid. The classic one and the videogames, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City portray her better. This particular remake series was awful, I watched one episode and swore never again.

@hollie1911 They are from the 4th season of "The Batman 2004". It's the only season with Harley in it. I think there is a fifth one, too but I' ve never seen it... v_v The episodes are "Two of a kind", "The metal face of comedy" and "rumors". In "Two of a kind" Harley appears for the first time and becomes Harley Quinn. Hope I could help you :)

@hollie1911 No problem! Yes, only one... and only one or two episodes and in "Rumors" only one scene! I found out, that there are two episodes with Harley in the fifth season, too. One of them is "Metal face of comedy" (I didn't noticed that I have seen one episode of this season^^ The season wasn't finished when I worked on this video) .
