  • This was really helpful and I found things that are making creating my own story much easier. Thanks:)

  • Good job, good bye!

  • Thank you very much

  • Thank you so much for your presentation of the nuts and bolts of story writing. Especially construction of plot. Thank you for your direction.

  • I know these podcast are a few years old now. But I have to say that these are hands down the most helpful videos on story writing found anywhere on youtube. Thanks

  • what about cliff hangers?

  • A great selection of videos which are very helpful. Thank's for posting mate! would be nice if there was more of them on here ;)

  • I'd hand write my novels too if I had such a notebook....

  • You were very inspireing (especially the absolute rubish page 138) - thank you. Though I'm already late for the contest, I'll take it up - gonna be sweet.

  • Great video!

  • Brilliant! This has helped me so much i love this guy! :D Thanks!!

  • Thank you Keith Gray. "Put it away for two weeks or a month, forget about it, THEN redraft." - great advice, thanks!

  • informative and helpful

  • Thank you for the tips, specially the last part. Now I can probably review (and redraft) a short story I was previously ashamed to put in a competition. I loved the hint on the writing on one side of the notebook!

  • I saw all the podcasts and they were really good.

    Thanks for the tips.

  • Keith Gray makes writing sound easy (which is not!), it really gives me back my motivation to write again.

    cheers to Mr. Gray!

  • I've always found writing easy, I like to scribble up ideas and develop character ideas, and important events in the character's life, write odd trial scenes and develop ideas - I never plan a whole story, that sort of evolves as I write - I love writing because I never know what's going to happen next - it just evolves as I go and reveals itself. Stephen King is the same way - his memoir "On Writing" is great for developing yourself as a writer. Good tips in there on getting published too!

  • Yeah, I find that I can write just like that. It feels like a gift.

  • I think it must be, I have a friend who has a brilliant analytical mind, and there's probably very little he couldn't learn in the way of science/technology, but his imagination doesn't appear to be quite as well developed.

  • Thank you

  • These videos were the best,--and I've seen/heard many of them. Thanks!

  • I very much enjoyed these videos. Your advice will surely help me with my own writing. Thank you!

  • it makes writing looks easier .. but of course it's not.
