I think you have problems because you have narrow feet. I have narrow feet and I literally cannot wear open toed shoes because my feet LITERALLY slide out.
If you want to do anything in heels, with longevity, you have to put an insole in it. gels for the ball of your foot buy a bigger size to preserve your toes, plus a platform is going to be more comfy than a single sole. Dont buy cheap heels, and you need to practice, if you're consistantly wearing flats for you to put on a 3in heel which isnt high is not going to work you have to invest time into puttin on a heel. practice, on a carpeted floor before you go outside, start slow then work up..
i buy only euro made shoes they are pretty good in footwear including designer heels and yes i don't buy shoes under 60 bucks let me tell you about zara, topshop, mango(mng), dolce vita, acme, opening ceromony, jeffery cambell and so much more you might have to invest in designer footwear for much less than those cheap painful toy shoes.
for closed toed booties, i suggest wearing socks, because it soaks up the sweat, and it prevents the foot from slipping into the front. for any other heel, i suggest you not to put lotion on the bottom of your foot the moment before you put them on, but lotion them up the night before, so your foot can absorb the moisture overnight. as for the pain, keep wearing them, break them in, and the pain will lessen. the higher quality the shoe, the less pain it will give you.
I know how you feel Gurl! I'm 5'10" and wear an 11. Before I had my kids I wore a 10. I keep a back up pair of simple black flats in my purse for emergencies! You gotta look cute! But stay safe! Do self massage on your feet to get the blood circulating... Treat yourself to a pedicure monthly if you can! You deserve it!

Girl, I can't do it. I can wear some good quality, less than 3 inch heels for a limited amount of time. I wish I could do better though! LOL. Shout out to all the woman who work those super high, cute, & sexy heels!
one thing that helps me is putting dr scholls gel insoles for heels in my shoes and wearing those corn covers (not that i have them lol) for added toe comfort :)

David's Bridal sells the most amazing inserts to prevent sliding. The only thing is it makes the shoes fit more snug so you would have to wear them with heels that are a little larger than your size. Your nails are goregous fenise!

Also you should put some kind of cushion in there for the ball of the foot.....that helps me also...depending on the height of the shoe I may use two, but its trial and error with those things bc all of them dont work......:)

I bought some YSL Tributes a few days back, cost me $1.2g (£600, so converted I think its about that much) but they will last me a decade until I will need another. They offer gr8 support because they're designed for the foot! Not saying they don't hurt, but they hurt WAY less. I own some Lanvin platforms which have lasted me 3 years even though I wear them at least 3 times a month for the whole day, haven't even got them resoled yet.
@0016beautifull Jeffrey Campbell does up to 12 I think and his shoes are GREAT, absolutely love him, Topshop (Would be a 41/42 Euro I think), Great quality shoes that will last you a long long long time. @kweencessX AGREED! I cannot stress enough about buying a good quality shoe. Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, and generally most (I'm not going to say all) cheaply made shoes are going to KILL your feet. They use cheap materials and aren't going to spend a lot of time making it. I'm not saying go out and spend $700 on a pair of Loubs but researching and finding a good quality shoe will save you a lot a pain and money in the long run.
i dont do heels at all. i dont think its worth it for us to maybe get long term foot damage and be in pain all day just to be beautiful. shoes are just supposed to protect ur feet from the ground! but secretly i wish i could wear heels for more than 10 min lol
