  • Hey King! Why dont you combine your two favorite things and make stickbombs while you scuba dive!!!!!!! :D

  • @giangovo I've actually considered how I'd do underwater kinetic art but haven't had the chance yet. I know a woman who specializes in underwater photography and we've been planning a gig to take pix of me u/w with stick bombs (they blow up very slowly u/w)...

  • I've actually made a double one along time ago

  • @921Jackofalltrades This is the first one I bothered to record; it's one of many ideas I've played around with over the years. Do you have a YouTube video of your double herringbone with an upload date before Dec. 16, 2011? If you can substantiate your claim, I'd be interested...

  • @lunatim Even though I've thought up and used many ideas like this, but I never recorded them, so you made the first one on the web!!!

  • @921Jackofalltrades Some of these ideas are so basic I wouldn't be surprised if somebody came up with them a long time ago, but never bothered to record them...

  • @lunatim With what program do you make the music you use in your videos?

  • @ikschrijflangenamen Sony Acid 7.0 and Audacity...

  • have you heard of pillowpets?

  • @lunatim their stuffed animals that transform into pillows. just wondering.

  • I love how you made these, because they arefun to try and figure out

  • @megahotshot97 Thanks, mega!

  • I think instead of doing another stick bomb next time you should do a rubix cube

  • @npieshefski I can solve Rubik's Cube, but I have no clue how I'd work that into a kinetic-art video...

  • The double herringbone looks like a tripbone to me :D

  • Epic Vertical Herringbone (cosbythecaterpillars second channel)

  • Epic :-) But your second camera isn't that good :D

  • @TimDomino Thanks, TD! I have two hi-def cameras. The second one shoots in high-speed (300 fps) but in a small window with low resolution...

  • @lunatim Nice :-)

  • Make a giveaway or contest and winner win some stick like 200, 500, 1000

  • Make a giveaway or contest and

  • Epic video man like always WOO HOOO ! :D

  • @narutorine Thanks, narutorine!

  • lunatim is the best.woohoo

  • @416popeye Whoo, hoo!

  • I love the double herringbone!

  • @afiq950615 I like it twice as much as the regular herringbone, but only half as much as the quadruple herringbone ;)

  • Could you try an underwater feature?

  • @BANJOKUZOOIE I've actually thought of how I could do things submerged and it would be a fun way to play with scuba gear. If you can find an aquarium that's interested, please let me know...

  • @lunatim well which state do you live in?

  • are you filming with a Canon 300HS?!?

  • @Delaypat Canon A2200 and Casio EX-F1...

  • WOOOHHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @quinte98 Whoo, hoo!

  • YOU. ARE. AWESOME.

  • @jackdavenportsbaby11 Thanks, jack!

  • The music was made with ACID Music Studio 7.0, which is bargain software. I'll try to explain the music, even though I have no training whatsoever. I'll have a simple tune with 7 notes/beats in it that repeats in a cycle. Then I'll add another simple tune with 11 notes/beats that's also cyclical. Together, they'll go 77 beats before repeating, and if I add a third tune with 13 beats, that's a melody that'll go 1001 beats before repeating itself. I'll leave gaps in each tune so that...

  • a note in one tune corresponds to gaps in the other two tunes, so that I'm not hitting chords that sound discordant. In some experiments, the tunes will be simple ascending or descending scales, in other experiments, the notes will be random, and in others, it'll be a random mixture of notes and pauses. It's pretty screwy, but sometimes it seems to work. BTW, I went with the 'Caribbean steel drums' voice for this tune because it seemed to go well with the particular rhythm...

  • Did not mention but the music does really add to the overall prodiction

  • 200th view woot woot!

  • I replayed 0:20-0:40 over and over trying to find the music's beat. I couldn't find one and now have the creepiest tune ever stuck in my head lol

  • DID ANYONE CATCH THAT SUBLIMINAL MESSAGE AT THE END???

    great idea btw

  • @WalrusMuffins10797 meeeeeee

it just said that you could read the history of stick bombs on his website

    and to practice safe sticks

  • Terrific idea, going vertical. That adds a whole new dimension. (oh, i didn't say that, did i? sorry . . .)

  • verticle herringbone - gravity hack lol

  • @kevinmeehan71 whatts up?

  • Thanks for the compliments, everybody! Yes, the music is mine because I don't want copyright hassles. It also gives me a chance to experiment with really off-the-wall methods of producing music....

  • @lunatim With what program or instrument do you make it?

  • Although I did keep expecting the t-squares yo somehow collapse from the top down.

    Really this is wonderful thanks.

  • Wow thanks that is a great thing

  • your music freaks me out ._.

  • Nice video!

  • Trippy...

  • Wow that was pretty cool, looks like I have something fun to try out this weekend.

  • Now.. plz combine all metodes in 1 freaking awsome chain.

Vote up, so maby he does! :D

  • @Thomhanb It's reasonable to assume this idea is already in the works, is it not?

  • I'm wondering, do you make that extremely weird music yourself?

  • @bigbobbydog Yes...

  • @bigbobbydog haha
