Make sure you have myspace version 1.0 if you use these instructions. Also make sure you are copying the code for 1.0 or it won't work.

This still works. Make sure you are using the right video for your profile. Myspace has version 1.0 and version 2.0. Make sure you have the right one for which profile you have.

when i log into myspace a pop up comes up every time and it says We've redesigned your homepage!

just click 'continue' and it will disappear. If not, refresh your page. If that still doesn't work. you need to contact myspace and tell them their message is stuck on your screen.

if you have a band or artist page, you cannot use the 'profile editor' on myspace.

you need to use the 'edit profile' link instead.

You have to copy the code for 1.0 and put it in your BIO or ABOUT ME.

nope same way still works. make sure you have a myspace 1.0 and are copying the myspace 1.0 code for the layout you want if you are using these instructions. If you have myspace 2.0 look in my videos for those instructions.

If you have myspace 1.0 you will see a message near the top of your screen on myspace telling you that you can upgrade to myspace 2.0.

If you already have myspace 2.0 pasting codes in About Me section will not work at all. you will see a bunch of codes on your profile.

Artist/Music Myspace profiles need to edit using "safe mode" so the layout html doesn't block the edit buttons. :)

1) You can also grab the codes by just cliking the codes

2) Sometimes you may be asked to fill a "captcha" after you save the profile, these are just hard-to-read characters MySpace's uses to assure itself you're human and not a bot
