I just got my copy of this game the other day and I must say it is far more fun to play than the first one. It's pretty effin cool to play and look at(total eye candy)
@thesavepointdotnet Go for it. By the way how the fuck did you manage to not die on the last boss like that? I die 3 times minimum with bomb usage too.
@bbutters2 I only upped a video where I didn't die. For every one of those there was about 10-20 where I either died or restarted because it didn't look like I was going to score high enough.
@bbutters2 I thought of that, still amazing though, it would take me AWHILE before I could ever manage to remember the attack pattern and where to position the ship for maximum avoidance of the bullets. Fucking fun game to play all in all, Dreamcast has these gems that no other system seems to have.
I have never heard such epic music in any video game ever. Gets points for that alone . Never played this game but i will be in 3 days as i just ordered it yesterday on Amazon. Can't fucking wait!
hey sorry about that i never knew there was giga wing 2 cause i only play giga wing 1 on pc which im actually good at whats behind the story of giga wing 2?
@thesavepointdotnet but you dont do the impossible do you?know why? because its impossible thats why.Not much fun either.A challenge is some times fun but most shoot em ups are just silly how difficult they are.Each to their own i guess...
@superfatttyfatboy Lol, technicality! Just count me in the niche group that finds these types of games fun. I find the fun is in working to beat the game without continuing and topping my old scores. Then there's dodging masses of bullets without getting hit, that's always exciting! Besides, if these games really were impossible, there wouldn't be anyone posting up high score or game clear videos on YouTube.
@thesavepointdotnet Well done i suppose.Maybe its not as bad as it seems sure looks like alot going onscreen that was all.My fave old shoot em up was r type on the arcades.It made me mad how i could get to level 5 without dying but then it took all my lives on level 6.Hated them games for doing stuff like that to me.
@superfatttyfatboy I kinda agree.... Bullet Hell gmaes aren;t my thing either but god are they fun to watch. I'm more of a Shienryu/Aerofighters kinda guy.
Well Done! Your strategy is very different that me, I know that I can do 14Q and to beat my own score but is very hard, I hope to go in Funspot and beat the record a live.
Thank you! And congrats again. I figured there was something really different in your run that can produce 2Q more points. I know I practically maxed out what I can get with the strategy I used in this video. I'll give it another try when I get around to buying another SVHS to replace the one I killed :-)
I like the 2nd better because of the way the Reflect Force behaves, how there are a good amount of opportunities to use it in the earlier stages, and the added strategy of triggering medal volcanoes. Also, I like that the stages are longer and that you have a smaller hit box. I do like fighting against the stealth fighter in the first one, though.
I prefer shooters (and fighting games) with a joystick, definitely. I've never seen GW2 in an arcade stateside, although, I've heard some people have played it in the UK.
Erm... You have calculated the points wrongly. It is eleven trillions, six-hundred-ninety-one thousand six-hundred-twenty-three billions, seven thousand three-hundred-twenty-six millions, six-hundred-seventy-seven thousand three-hundred-thirty points. Each -llion is preceded by thousands, you know.
Apart of that little mistake... This is truly awesome.
That is also correct, because that's the long scale numbering system. I grew up learning the short scale, so I go up one -illion after every 3 zeros.
In Japan, they mark off every group of 4 places with a special designation. That explains the different colors of numbers on the final tally screen. My score in Japanese would be sen hyaku roku-ju kyu-gai, sen rop-pyaku ni-ju san-cho, nana-ju san-oku, ni-sen rop-pyaku roku-ju nana-man, nana-sen san-byaku san-ju.

Quite unexpected, but hey, I expected this as much as I expected a Spanish Inquisition.

thesavepointdotnet 2 years ago
Incorrect, its the same as the civil war, it was seen from a long shot away, the only thing not seen was that WW2 would hit during it
Howboutthinking 2 years ago
Hmm last time I checked....
1,000 = thousand
1,000,000 = million
1,000,000,000 = billion
1,000,000,000,000 = trillion
1,000,000,000,000,000 = quadrillion
1,000,000,000,000,000,000 = quintillion
so
11,691,623,007,326,677,330 = 11.69 quintillion

That's 'Short Scale', the method of counting large numbers in North America and many 'western' regions.
thesavepointdotnet 2 years ago
Funny. In Denmark it goes like this,
1.000 = Tusind
1.000.000 = Million
1.000.000.000 = Milliard
1.000.000.000.000 = Billion
1.000.000.000.000.000 = Billiard
1.000.000.000.000.000.000 = Trillion
1.000.000.000.000.000.000.000 = Trilliard
And im not sure what comes after that.
