I have been in the Dominican Republic. My stay was ten days. I've been to the towns of Santo Domingo, Santiago, and Boca Chica. The Dominican Republic is a beuatiful country with lovely beaches and great and friendly people. This is a great video which brings back a lot of memories. Awesome job making this video.

Nuestro pais es hermoso, pero lamentablemente solo una parte de la poblacion puede disfrutarlo. Solo hay que ir a los barrios populares (la cañita, la Cienaga, Katanga, Capotillo, Los Alcarrizos etc) y nos damos cuenta de la inseguridad, la carencia de servicios basicos, desempleo que agobia a la mayor parte de la poblacion. Por eso no nos sorprendamos de que muchos migremos aunque amemos nuestro pais.
Santo Domingo parece un buen lugar para ir de vacaciones, en Republica Dominicana la gente parece amable y acogedora, como lo es aca en Perú. Saludos de un peruano :D

i get your point, i dont know what part of DR you went to but im sure that our population is less than 40% black, nothing against skin color, but most of us have lighter skin, most are tanned up, but is not considered a dark skinne country, im sure there are places in DR where you wont even find a dark skin person.. my 2 cents....

I have been in the Dominican Republic. My stay was ten days. I've been to the towns of Santo Domingo, Santiago, and Boca Chica. The Dominican Republic is a beuatiful country with lovely beaches and great and friendly people. This is a great video which brings back a lot of memories. Awesome job making this video.

Nuestro pais es hermoso, pero lamentablemente solo una parte de la poblacion puede disfrutarlo. Solo hay que ir a los barrios populares (la cañita, la Cienaga, Katanga, Capotillo, Los Alcarrizos etc) y nos damos cuenta de la inseguridad, la carencia de servicios basicos, desempleo que agobia a la mayor parte de la poblacion. Por eso no nos sorprendamos de que muchos migremos aunque amemos nuestro pais.

No, República Dominicana no es un país perfecto. Tampoco es una nación ni rica ni industrializada. Esas caracterizaciones les quedan a la mayoría de los países del mundo. Los países desarrollados son pocos, pero tampoco son perfectos y también tienen bastante pobreza.
