This was a user interface that they was testing for a short time to also get feedback from players. Eventually they choosed to upgrade the already existing interface. But this might be a glimpse what Dark Orbit may bring in the future...
@JamezDatKorpze This was experimented with on a few servers, however since most people are outright resistant to change, it was scrapped. I am personally a fan of it, although the overall idea was taken from another bp game called Mech something-or-other.
