Owned this device for over 3 years. I have never 'burnt' anything with it. It's actually impossible with this vaporizer. I'll excuse your incorrect opinion as a simply misinformed statement, it's might be assumed it's 'burning' with the large clouds, but I assure you, it's not. Vapor only. :)

@InexplicableRage Can't comment about how conspicuous the package is wrapped but it shows up as "PAYPAL *PURPLE DAYS 03/16" on your bank statement if purchased today. the transaction is done through paypal. Hope that helps

i pretty much only use my purple days for parties. its made of wood and not terribly expensive so i dont worry if someone has a stoner moment and breaks it. but when it comes down to personal use the silver surfer vaporizer is the bee knees. talk about blowing clouds of vapor.
these are really tough to get a hold of in the U.S....they used to have a waiting list but its flooded now so it'll be a while till I can get one...guess ill get da buddha instead :)
@irushhhh they are both very different- purple days is more portable, conserves your cannabis better, is hand made by a very small team, but takes a long time to heat up (they recommend you keep it plugged in at all times so its always ready) and will probably take several months for you to get one. I
I have heard a lot of good things about da buddha- and its priced pretty well too. Its not portable, but you could have one in a few days as opposed to waiting for months for the purple days

Hey man, was wondering if you could answer a few questions I have on this vap, if one were toking with friends could you pass the PD to them, without the polypropylene Vapor Tube you were just toking on, and let them use their own vapor tubes with their herb installed? or would it take ages for their herb to heat it?
Also I'm looking for a vap that could work adequately with Hash as that's actually more common here than green, do you think this vap could deal with the brown?
Yes, you could just pass the unit and they could pop in their stem(tube) into the wooden base. Your question should actually be answered by just watching the video. SA pops in the stem and starts token.
I know ISO hash oil works really well, not so sure about just regular hash.

the purple-days operates at optimal temperature 'by itself'... no controllable temperature -- no need, it's always in the sweet spot :D
