  • @ktbolt1

Absolutely sista! I hope you make some more videos..I really enjoyed this video and the recipe.

  • This is great! If you don't like the canned peaches, use frozen peaches instead. I hope you make more videos.

  • @coloradomtnbrew

Colorado Mountain Brew - are you Coors Beer aficionado? LOL. I am country cook so I use whatever peaches are handy. Of course, fresh is always my first choice.

  • The butter part came out of nowhere. You never say anything about the butter. I was making it and got caught off guard when you pulled the butter out the oven. Used my own judgement and melted a whole stick in the microwave- SHOOT. To layer click on your link to read that it only calls for a 1/4 stick. Cant wait to see how this tastes...

  • @wannywan1 OOPs--did forget to mention how much butter. But part of the fun of cooking is making mistakes (hopefully they are edible mistakes) . How did the cobbler turn out?

  • i LOVE this video !!!

  • What an intense comment over peaches!! I wish I would let a fruit make me mad! Lol.

  • @THEALMIGHYCHOSEN12 I am in total agreement with you. This is just how I make my Madea's peach cobbler. I have bigger catfish to fry along with the hushpuppies! LOL

  • WOW 56Stiffy why be so harsh. It's really not that serious. Come on back Karen do your thing. I'm glad you actually made a cobbler. Hello why do people not know the difference between a cobbler and a pie?

  • okay I usually likes my crust crunchy and flakey on top but tried this and LOVE IT, done it twice already!!!! easy, fast and dorn YUMMY !!!!!!!!!!!! thanks, your recipe is the one I chose!!! the best!

  • no offense sweet lady, but never ever say you are using ALL NATURAL ingredients if there is anything coming to the room in a can........sorry, just my observation, I am sure you are very sweet and can really cook and touch the soul but never say NATURAL with all them preservatives in cans...............

  • -56stiffy are you kidding me ? its a video about peach cobbler ..relax. its looks delishcious neway :)

  • I ENJOYED YOUR DEMONSTRATION !

    THINK I'LL TRY YOUR RECIPE.

    KEEP ON COOKING!

    THANKS!

  • great and easy plz make more vids

  • Girl you are the bomb!! Fast and easy recipe and I luvv your video, delightful! You should have your own show :-))

  • How many times have I overheard this conversation....

Person1: "There's peach cobbler in the kitchen"

Person2: "Made with canned peaches or real?"

    Person1: "Canned"

Person2: "I'll just have the Hostess Twinkies"

  • Thanks Karen, great video! I want to try this recipe soon.

  • this was lovely

  • I love this video - you did a great job!

  • I like this video...you should make more! :) I especially like the story behind the food. Thanks for posting.

  • I agree with the Youtuber above. Please make more videos.

  • This is an awsome video and recipe! I have made this and it is lovely. I used canned peaches - nothing wrong with canned peaches.

Cameveable - funny my friend, I too am a white male from England - I am 27. I love soul food too. In fact I love anything or black origin.

  • aw yummy yummy yummy wish dey made dat peach cobbler in new zealand lol ;]

  • CANNED PEACHES????? Why even bother to do all that work to make some canned peaches garbage? This is crap, canned peaches are for packing in lunch boxes, nothing more! FRESH PEACHES!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Canned peaches will do if fresh peaches aren't available. My cravings for a peach cobbler are not limited to when peaches are in season!!!

  • I feel ya, .... but if you're making a movie to post for the whole world to see, then I think it shoulda been done with the best of everything or postponed, but then that's just my opinion, which when combined with a dollar, buys a cup of coffee. Nice vid otherwise.....PEACE!

  • @ktbolt1 Tell em girl!

  • @56Stiffy at least Paula Dean...used FRESH!!! PEACHES...

  • What temperature does the oven need to be preheated to?

  • Oven temp is 350 degrees. Have your tried the recipe yet?

  • am just making this now! im a white 30 yr old male father of two from london and soul food is what i like to eat!! will have to check out some more of your recipes!

  • "Ooh, this smells so good. Too bad you guys can't smell this." lol. Ms. Kbolt1,

Thanks for posting your recipe. I will make my peach cobbler on Christmas eve.

  • haha. so how thick is this hot delicious rocky mountain cobbler?

  • how much butter was put into the pan in the oven?

  • I used all purpose flour and 1/4 stick of butter. Have you tried to make it yet?

  • @ktbolt1

ok thank you for that info.

yes I tried it but unfortunately my peaches came out too mushy. I kind of didn't follow the directions all the way so that was my fault. I think I may add texture to it next time with some cookie crumbs to have some crunchy bits. PLus I think the pan I was using was too big for the little amount of peachs I had. I may try again soon though. The smell of peach cobbler is sooooo yummy. =)

  • i wish that i could taste your delicious peach cobbler

  • Mz.zz. Shana Sweet,

Make the peach cobbler and your wish will be granted! In one hour, your taste buds could be extremely happy!

  • Your funny. I caught that the sugar lid wouldn't open! lol

Thanks for that easy recipe. I have been wasting money buying prepared crust, scared of doing my own. So now I have a new, simple, and easy way of doing thangs! Thanks again.

  • ms karen you need to make more videos

  • I am working on it! Thank you very much. Next up is Aunt Lillian's Buttermilk Biscuits. Hopefully, I will have it posted in the next three weeks.

    Deliciously yours.

    Karen B.

  • Hey Karen,

I am going to make your peach cobbler tonight. I am definitely going to do a video response also. I do have 1 question though...what Kind of flour are you using? Just the regular all-purpose, bread flour, self rising, enriched?

    Thanks,

    Alicia

  • @creativity619 self rising flour

  • Im going to be trying it today !!!

Do you make carrot cake or humming bird cake?

    kb
