This has made my day. I wish MK developers would consider some sort of cross promotion by making drogo a DLC character. Though he'd be a bit like Kratos in appearance. Fuck it they should go for it. I'd buy it TWICE.

@Williansk0 Well in the book its quite different.. See Daenerys arrives in the village, but Khal does not get his wound from the fight. he had it before Daenerys arrived. The wound is far worse in the book that describes as basically, one of his whole breasts nearly cut off. Hanging by the flesh it describes you could see muscle, and says his nipple was missing. Its a nasty wound in the book, in the series, its a paper cut.

I don't think he actually fought anyone in this scene. But he did kill a rival Khal after he declared war.

@MagusX1 I think this is a change that really works, though - to see a thundering badass like Drogo brought down by something as petty as an infection makes his decline and death all the sadder.

The wound in the book is a savage thing, and could easily kill anyone. It is far too ordinary to claim a life like his. The infection of a small cut as in the show is much more affecting, because the massive strength and raw power of Drogo being overcome by microscopic bacteria is so horribly ironic and sad.

The reason it is a poor change is because that sequence in the book much more effectively shows the brutality of the Dothraki, which the TV series down plays. Also Drogos injury in the book also shows this effectively and the tiny cut in the series is just...lame. As glad as I am for the TV series, sadly its bringing in noob fans such as yourself that make us real fans look like idiots.
