I love this, it's absolutely amazing, but I think it should have ended at 5:42 perhaps dragging out Melanies voice for an extra 5 or so seconds that it does in the original

Mixing two songs (especially of similar or equal tempo) is no excuse for songs to go offbeat. Both original songs seem to be in 4/4 time, and it sounds great at the beginning, but at the end it gets choppy. Just work on smoothly switching between the two songs at the end, and it'll be perfect.

Other than that, great mix! Love both of these songs sooo much!

there is a program you can download and it allows you to download youtube videos and convert them to wma, i used it for a couple of songs so i could slow them down on windows media player to help me play the guitar lol just google it i cant remember the name of it, and btw its free so if you find one thats not free its probably not that one lol good luck

I edited that out towards the end on purpose. If you listen to it at the beginning you will hear that it's in there. The reason I did that was just so the song has a variance towards the end.

I do have the album. That section that your talking about isn't at the beginning of my mix, but if you listen towards the end of the song I left it in. The reason I took it out at the beginning is cause I liked it better at the end, and I wanted a slight difference between the first and last part of the guys version of the song.

haha yeah that's true. They are meant to be together and everyone is interested in hearing them as a mix, so that's why they are so many combinations out there. "The Fiction We Live" is only 1:18 long, so it's a short song. But they are some videos here on Youtube that have them play back to back so really your not missing anything of either song, they are just played one after another if you can find the right video.
