try downloading a program called amcap and when you press record launch amcap any error messages ignore. then go to video filter or summit and change the drop down box from pal to secamb or summit.

Nice quality, I use S-video too..you should check out my vid :).....how come when I watch a video, the quality sucks unless I watch it in their profile....hmm,,,,,like I was wondering why everyone was saying this is good quality because it sucked on my screen lol until I watched it on your profile and same for my vids to O.o

PLEASE help me, i bought the same cable but my svid wont show up on Ulead. I use 10.0 and the svid itself works i tried it on my tv. i also set the input to svid so thats not it

when i do s video i use the xbox svideo into my easy cap so its on my computer sreen you should be able to select s video were it says input source in the options gear u can only play in svid and use it on your tv if you have a splitter for svideo... hope this helps.

I downloaded 11.5 and it shows up on the preview screen but when I hit capture it turns black and after i stop it says the file is corrupt and will be deleted. Are you saying I need an S-Video splitter and I can't play on composite and record with s-vid?

try some different settings no you dont NEED a splitter to record in s video i have it hooked up from s-vid to easy cap but if you have a s-vid splitter you can record and play on your tv for halo since your matches save i can do s-vid since i can record it later insted of playing on the pc screen..... if you use composite your tv may have an out put and you can use that .

No setting work, do u use XP? Cause every i have talked to that uses s-vid has xp. Maybe my vista might have something to do with it.

Options -> ... Video and Audio ... -> Change 'Videotuner' into Videocomposiet (something like that)...

I'm 100% sure this will work.

i want an s-video cable to record with good quality on easycap (cuz for some reason a regular composite video cable makes tiny things look double such as the bullet display) but it would look horrible on my hdtv

i have 1 and it only works black and white in pal 50 and colour in pal 60 so if i got a s video lead would it work in colour in pal 50 and pal 60 in colour

Ulead video studio 11 with the xbox s video cable with template with dvd ntsc lpcm GQ 16-9 and xbox set to widescreen that should be it glad i could help you out
