Going by what I see in this first part, I would say this battle is too close to call... but I think Pockemon is the better power crew, while Expression is much better at style (yes... even with Lilou in this, I think Wake-up's answer to Lilou completely negates his set). I have seen the entire battle and for the longest time I hated Pockemon for the flag thing... very disrespectful and in poor taste. For that reason alone, Expression should have won it.

I think its obvious that Pockemon won here. I mean Expression sent bboy Eagle (their powermover) out 4 times. He had one good set and crashed hard on another. Other than that, Expression wasnt hitting hard. They had their moments but Pockemon came with more routines and overall better solos. By the time Eagle came out for his last set Expression seemed to have just fallen apart as a crew. The judges know what they are doing, Pockemon won. Lilou's head to elbow airchair transition was nasty btw.

Personally I think Pockemon won this one. The flag stuff was fun but some people might feel offended, so I think it was perhaps a bad idea that they used a flag ...

But there are decisions which often were really weird. For example, why was Mortal Kombat never in Top 4? Or last year, how could Top 9 win when TIP was clearly better?

There are many more examples of this.

THERE IS NO FUCKING RULE. Just because you think one should have won doesnt mean that other people might think differently, it opinion nothing else. Expression had crazy power and blow ups. Pokemon countered with there own power (which was great aswell), flexability and aggresavness. BOTY is non profit meaning they use all the money they earn to finance next years event. They have no reason to rig the event. But because BOTY is the biggest event it recieves the most critazism.

Not everything is opinion. one crew has to be better than the other the cant just be equally good. u may like a crew for different reasons but talent is talent and there should be no bias against it.

i agree but your crew is not at international level of skill Pokemon whether you like it or not is. Personally i have seen Pokemon loose battles fairly and agreed with the decision however in this case i feel they won they did there own stuff. Lilou, Brahim and Ismael beat Wake up and Al on their flexability and Rudolphe and Daniel where about the same with Eagle, if you think airflair into suicide 540 or closed leg flairs doesnt require skill then i am sorry.

@LukaDinamo pokemon did not beat expression in flexibility..Brahim was the most flexible in that battle and next was Wake up... Also expression had more style.. They should have win..But the don't allow the same crew to win 2 times in a raw and also the don't want korea to be in the first place every year.

@LukaDinamo I know this is a year old but I just have to say it: Pockemon did not win because of flexibility. Nobody with the exception of Sick from Gamblers win with just flexibility. This isn't yoga. Personally, I think Expression should have won, but Pockemon won it because they had more powermovers (this was 2003), and because they had (inexplicably) better routines. But Expression hammered them on style, especially in the first half of the battle.

true. but im not saying that. i mean personally i believe that, regardless of how these crews perform usually, in this battle Expressions crew was better. now Pokemon crew does some crazy difficult stuff but i just believe that Expressions packaged their moves better. there are alot of other cases where this Silent Rule can be applied to like. Gamblerz 2004/2005 or last for one 2005/2006. It just seems to me that the judges slightly favor the opposite crew to avoid any team winning twice ina row

Actually, Gamblers didn't deserve first place in 2005. They even admitted it too. They even said that they messed up in their show and had to adjust lot of routines and performance since Bboy Music wasn't dancing that time.

But I meant silent rule as in Rockforce Crew in 98 or so and Last For One getting robbed for back to back champ that they deserve.

As for this battle, I don't think Expression got robbed bcz Pockemon was pretty good, although they were fags fukin around with Korean flag.

I was talking about 05, when Gamblers got 3rd place. Some guy said Gamblers got robbed in 2005 but I really don't think so. They messed up a lot in their show and they admitted it too. They had few issues within the crew. Bboy Music couldn't be in it for some reason. I also wanted Expression to win but this was a close battle although I don't like Pockemon. I wonder if Expression would've done better if they had 2002 members like hong 10, ducky, etc.
