I love this video...but could you demonstrate how you first started and then transition into the honeycomb stitch. How many rows of the box stitch before transitioning into the honeycomb? I am just learning how to crochet (and am using looms). Perhaps a honeycomb stitch is too advanced and I should stick to the basic. : )
Hello I totally didnt know all these videos were on utube. i always ask micheals if they are going to start classes. I have been teaching myself or looking at patterns I love this stich I was wondering if you have ever use light #3 yarn I bought 3 different colors for a baby blanket and it looks to loose do you have any suggestions love the video thankyou
Great Video! Can you show a video for binding or casting off the honeycomb stitch? I'm attempting a blanket and want to make sure I do it correctly. thanks
If you look at my video for the box (double rib) stitch, that is how you cast on and then this video shows how to create the honeycomb effect using the box (double rib) stitch.
Is it possible to do the honeycomb stitch on a round loom and if so how? Or do you know of a site that has a video or instructions on how to do it? Thanks.
In my mind I can't see it being done on a round loom because the pegs that have to be used across from each other are too far apart and your stitches would be too loose and would come apart.
It depends on how thick your yarn is. I was using a 2 ply sport weight baby yarn and if I only use one strand of yarn then the stitches become too loose and the blanket doesn't look very good. If you use a 4 ply yarn then you only have to use one strand.
Your videos are FANTASTIC!!!! Please keep them coming! Could you please explain to me how to cast off after finishing this stitch? Thanks so very much!
hi am trying to make this blanket :/ but i dont know how to put together my other color yarn? can u plz plz give a tip :) thanks...

It was very well done... Easy to understand. I live in Italy and I'm having a hard time finding a loom.

If you google "How to make a knitting loom" there are instructions on how to make a loom with two pieces of board and some nails.
