  • DAMN

  • my friend was at the track is west palm and the rev'd the car next to him and it fucked his ears up,this car is legit

  • what exhaust do you got ??

  • how much power was the car putting down when you guys made this video?.... great car!

  • Thanks - glad you liked it.

At the time, it was making 539 whp at 20 psi.

    ajperformance(dot)com/ajp-shop -car-has-horsepower-for-thanks giving/2007/11/24/

It's making over 700 whp now.

  • damn! 700 whp! great work!!..... and i was just wondering if, with these kind of power levels (650-700whp), can this car be a daily driver?

  • 700 whp is actually a conservative number. We plan to videorecord its actual number and post it soon.

Yes. Our customer Oscar (featured in another video with 437 whp and a fully-built motor at 14 psi) is boosting at 29 psi (we have not dynoed his car lately) and using it daily. He's using an AEM F/IC.

Our shop car has the Greddy e-Manage Ultimate and doing very well.

The AEM F/IC or Greddy e-Manage Ultimate really helps out in making this a daily driver.

  • well after watching your videos and checking your site, if i get an SI that i want ill probably bring it to you guys to get built. keep up the good work!

  • Great! Stay tuned for more videos coming soon. It's only getting better!

  • oh and one more question. when you guys make power like 650-700hp can that only be used for street/strip? or even circuit/endurance racing ? thanks.

  • When we build the motor, we can build it more for endurance than drag strip. That's something you'll want to tell us up front before we order the parts.

Honda of America Racing Team competed in One Lap of America with a supercharger in 2006.

In 2008, they switched over to our turbo kit and raced in the Redline Time Attack series. They were asked if they were returning to One Lap, and HART said they were sticking to the Redline Time Attack.

    Different races, different builds.

  • oh i see. Thanks for all the info, and I will be sure to consider you guys i get the si im looking around for.

  • Make sure you stop by our website and stay up with the latest developments. We're always doing research and development on our kit.

  • omg this car is just brutal. let me ask you something when u guys say built engine is that just forged internals or did u guys do an extensive port job or something along those lines

  • O.o!!!!!! 700!!!?!?!?

  • Yes, you can set your boost controller to anything between 4.5 and 7, and drive all day long.

Many of our customers run the kit on stock internals in their daily drivers.

  • i wouldnt mind boosting the ol FG but i would hate diggin those high compression pistons out. Could you run this kit with stock internals and be safe as in 4-7 psi

  • wonder if this si can now take or keep up with a stock c6 zo6.

  • We will take it to the track this year and see what it can do. However, this is more of a show car than a race car. We're hoping one of our customers will do the racing for us.

  • damn thats crazy ajperformance. ive been considering this turbo kit for a while now and can see it puts up the best numbers and a reliable kit. but my ? is whats the mpg on the si with the kit on it? my car has 27 mpg, what number would the kit drop it down to?

  • It all depends on your driving habits. When you get our turbo kit, you're getting a lot of power and speed. You don't think about mpg.

However, since the kit runs on low boost - 4.5 psi, you can maintain your mpg if you don't stomp on the gas pedal. But then, what's the point of the turbo kit?

  • Bad ass... I have an 07 SI and im really considering into purchasing one from you guys. i will contact your saled epartment soon. Im hoping monday. I wont have time untill then. Hopefully the numbers seem good so we can get this arranged.

  • Glad you like it. We have two of kits being installed right now along the East Coast and an install in our shop this week. Our kits are going strong and we'd love to have you join the family.

  • What time are u currently running at 35 psi?

  • We haven't been to the track yet. We're planning that right now. We've been breaking in the motor slowly but surely.

  • aight

  • would the ajp kit fit on a 2009 civic si

  • Yes, the 2009 has not changed that much from the 2008 and we've installed kits on the 2008.

  • is this the one pushing 20 psi cuz thats one fast civic ....and how much does a mechanic charge to put this turbo in.. i would love one for my si and live in ny so i wanna sorda get an estimate?

  • A year ago, it was at 20psi. Now it's up to 35psi. This is for demonstration purposes only to show how robust the kit is. We sell a kit that is rated for 8.5psi.

Please come to our website at ajperformance (dot) com and contact us at sales (at) ajperformance (dot) com.

  • What kind of exhaust is he using

  • Our AJP 3" cat back exhaust.

  • damn how fast is he going?

  • Very fast.

  • damn does anyone sell a turbo kit like that in North Carolina..i have an 07 Si with skunk2 catback and AEM CAI...hook me up!!

  • Contact us at sales (at) ajperformance (dot) com. We just spoke with some guys near Fort Bragg who might order the kits and do the installation at a local shop.

  • damm I want that engine in my EP, how much?

  • It's the turbo, man. Check out our blog at ajperformance (dot) com (slash) blog.

  • man thats HOT

  • Ron was just taking it easy. Wait until he really stomps it.

  • Wow, now that's cool.

  • I know Ronald had fun doing that 1 lol

  • He really enjoyed the fact that his newly-built motor was having no hiccups whatsoever.

  • saludos desde chile.... :)
