  • PLEASE make that interview happen, i'd watch!

  • "That dude is a trip, man" -- great journalism here

  • @saxz99

    -facepalm-

  • I'm sorry for saying something unrelated but this woman in this Young Turks show is very beautiful. It's like top 0,00001% most beautiful people in the world if you ask me.

  • ItsUploaded [dot] com!

  • It don't take much these days for the high authority to create unjustified charges to someone that's trying to get ahead in life, governments don't like successful people , they want us to know nothing and keep big business for themselves or their friends.

Being intelligent can get you in trouble for no reason!

  • Racketeering, what the fuck for? lol I mean they are just tacking these wacky random charges on him. He ran a file hosting website on the internet, how the fuck would that be racketeering? can anyone here explain what the fuck this guy was doing that was considered "racketeering"?...I just don't see it. The money laundering charge is out of whack too, how the fuck would he laundering money, they'd first have to prove that file hosting sites are illegal in the first place.

  • I don't care if Kim was a hacker/murder/convict/raper/etc, I still like him. So people please, stop believing that Kim is still a hacker/etc today and avoiding him.

  • Yulia Tymoshenko Jail in 7 years for US$ 11 Billions from Gas Nature

Kim Dotcom jail in 50 years for US$ 100 millions from Download Copyrights

WTF wrong!! Obviously the government is really Criminal Economic!

  • @ycaruzob That's so true! I have no idea what the heck the government is doing anymore. I understand in some ways why the government want's to put in such a law, but at the same time, it's taking things way out of hand. There are more important things in world that need to be looked at - they may not be fixed - but there are issue's that can be improved and help people.

  • That's an epic troll job from Kim Dotcom!

  • this guy is a fucking genius!

  • too many adds on utube

  • Fun facts: Kim is half Finnish, half German

Kim was number one in Modern Warfare 3 around New Years (was playing with username MEGASHOOTER)

  • @F4rl4nd MEGARACER.. :P

  • He was just trolling his neighbours... how has everyone missed this?

  • God, Mafia, Hacker... I lmaof'd

  • Kim Dot Com is definitely a sociopath, but a very smart, charismatic, high functioning sociopath you could have a lot of fun hanging out with. He used to do a lot of scams, and the man was born without the ability to feel remorse or pity, I sort of like him :3

  • Kim Dotcom is a cool guy. He gave us 1 bazillion dollars worth of fireworks for the 2011 New Years. But our fucking greedy govt let America have him for 1 bazillion dollars.

  • @EdgarD8387 FUCK OFF AND COMMIT SUICIDE.

  • @EdgarD8387 I actually find Cenk to be really cute, so piss of troll.

  • these reporters are lame n not funny i think they are arrogant fools

  • Kartoffelsalat XD

  • @brasiliennr1 danish??

  • @jooonleyg german

  • @brasiliennr1 danish too;)

  • @jooonleyg lol

  • Ffs, you can find many movies on YouTube by searching the movie name and typing "part 1 of" and get a result some times. Does this mean Eric Schmidt should be arrested? YouTube shut down? It's not as if Megaupload refused taking down copyrighted material whenever it was served a takedown notice. Also, I recall using Megaupload so many times, and for legal reasons (for example, if I wanted to put a custom ROM on my Android device, I would download the free ROM on Megauplod through dev links).

  • LIKE A BAUSSSSSSS

  • @trimx302 YouTube at least takes measures to prevent copyright infringement. Plus, you can't download off YouTube unless you have some other software.

  • @n00g75 How would that give them "free promotion?" It's not free if it's costing them record sales. You really think that musicians are recouping the loss in album sales from ticket sales? Think first then write it down!

  • Megaupload is no more guilty than YouTube of hosting pirated material. When will we see YouTube struck down?

  • I love how they went after megaupload and not thepiratebay

    so ironic

  • @rocky19421 This is not true. He lived in New Zealand because he was hiding from U.S. laws.

  • @leeroynaggins How would a musician make money by giving their music away for free? I can't believe this is a top comment. Are you serious? Yes, the "labels" were "after" Megaupload because it was allowing their musician's recordings to be stolen...that and all the stolen movies and videos.

  • @mwhitten77 lol maybe because they get free promotion and can then get paid on shows they do ? think first and then write it down !

  • @sheepOG You think there's no such thing as intellectual property law? Youre and idiot. There, I posted it "in public" for you, you fucking moron.

  • He should have moved to America, not New Zealand.

In America, he'd be celebrated as a "job creator" who was being victimized by "liberal-leaning Hollywood" for exercising his "freedom to innovate".

He'd get a bailout for being (personally) "too big to fail", keep the cash, sell the company, and then film a reality show in his mansion. Paving the way for lucrative career as a Fox News contributor, and likely presidential candidate....

  • @rocky19421 America has been at the forefront of sucking big businesses dick and shutting down anything that might cost them money, they'd hate him too. Other than that though

  • @rocky19421 are u joking ? in Corporate Theocracy America, the police wouldve shot him dead and then said he shot them first

  • @rocky19421 Dude that is just....such a great comment, made my evening just that much better. :) peace

  • @rocky19421 Sad, but true.

  • German humour is awesome (and real)!

  • If he's guilty, the libs will probably give him his own "reality" tv show like they did for the Gottis. One time criminals were hunted down and either jailed or killed. Now they are celebrated. Just 1 more example of the hedonism of this Godless, immoral, secular culture.

  • Soooo, Cenk, when are you going to change your last name from "Shishkebab" to "Onlinenewsshow"?

  • I love that response!

  • The #1 Call of Duty Mw3 player in the world. Kimdotcom

  • @masterbrice not anymore

  • FUCKING HILARIOUS!!!! GODDAMNIT!!!

  • All an artist wants, at least the respectable ones, is to make art and have people enjoy their stuff. The people fighting for piracy laws rarely ever are the composers, just some rich fat old sleezy piece of shit trying to make a buck off somebody else's work.

  • best troll ever

  • wtf kim dotocm, i thought that was kim.com

  • slow news day? Nothing happening in America worth reporting I guess.

  • plz make report about Mega Box

  • Long live Kim Jong Un!!!

  • that letter is funny.

  • If my last name was "Kartoffelsalat", I would've changed it too. (Joke)

  • Free Kim

  • LMAO

  • I think he's hilarious, he's just talking about the news and what they're saying about him.

  • Kim seems to be one of the very rare people who come along once and a while to remind us all to relax and joy life a bit more. He created one hell of a website and sadly he paid the price for that. Although, I am sure he will fight it. It take about half of the money to fight it but he might still come out on top. It depends on how he plays it.

  • @freedomwv no chance

  • THANK YOU TYT FOR TALKING ABOUT KIM DOTCOM

  • @mcroger WHY SO CAPS LOCK?!

  • @Evirthewarrior MY CAPS LOCK IS BROKEN

  • hes from germany, hes an arrogant fat cunt, i have met him

  • evil evil guy...how long untill media calls him a terrorist?

  • How can that go well...

  • Just another capitalist who earns far to much money. I don't care what name is company has, 100 million pounds is far too much money. People should not earn so much money. There should be a maximum income, because it its unfair that 99% of all people must work very hard yet most will never earn more then 60.000 dollars a year. Even 60.000 dollars is a lot of money and many Americans earn even less!

  • @UDSS I can work hard in my own lawn, that doesn't mean I should make money taking care of my own property. Our mistake is equating "hard work" with monetary gain.

Most people don't create products that other people want to buy, or services that other people want to use. Yes, he has an obscene amount of money, but that's because it was given to him by someone else. Most likely, in return for something.

If we want to stop the wealth inequality, we have to stop giving them our money.

  • I'd love him as a neighbor, but I'd also think: How'd he get my fucking email addy?

  • In London we call a guy like this " A fucking Legend"

  • @highnine9 Not really, he may spend half his life in prison.

  • @highnine9 : no

  • @highnine9 not only in england!

  • I used to give my ex g/f a megaupload.

  • I'd suspect that his tony-neighborhood is loaded with people who made and keep their fortunes by being a bastard in one way or the other.

  • @TheYoungTurks yeah megaupload didn't have that much pirated stuff, youtube has more pirated material than megaupload.

  • oh jeez whenever they said kim dotcom I've been thinking it was a website

  • American "justice" today: 20 years for raping and murdering a little girl; 150 years for megauploads.

  • Der Guvment been takin his jaw!!

  • God I miss Megavideo. T_T

  • THEY TOOK HIS JOB!!!

  • Haha what are his neighbours, republicans?

  • Who said germans have no sense of humor ? :D

  • kim dotcom=awesome

  • I don't mind that he's having fun, but I'm not entertained by the excessive selfishness (not just him ofcourse) and Im not secretly wishing that that was my life.

  • TYT should do some research on Megaupload.

They had an interesting business model that actually helped artists (mostly musicians) connect with fans and MAKE MONEY through allowing fans to download their music for FREE...

THAT'S why the labels were after Megaupload...

Because it THREATENED their reason for existence!

  • @leeroynaggins

Sorry but u make that sound so "pro-music"...

But Kim Dotcom cleary was doing illegal stuff (there are very good reasearched articles in german newspapers), he deserved to get taken down...You mb right generally, but dont make it look like Megaupload is a victom here.

  • @Messiahs

He's done illegal stuff in Germany but nothing MU did was illegal. The Prosecutions main point is that MU made pirating attractive through their affiliate program but at the same time that affiliate program pays for legal content just as it does for illegal content. therefore that claim is false.

  • @Patrickz1984

nono, dont missunderstand me, I think its utterly and completly wrong to take down MU totally, because it was a whole running buisness that had a huge legal base of users, who paid for it. I just feel like many people try to make Kim Dotcom look like the victom of the music industry. But he isnt, he did commit crime and must be punished for it :) So Im really on your side!

  • @leeroynaggins As a card-carrying union musician, I personally know this to be true. Major labels are absolutely ravenous towards indies that don't sell peak artists upwards, and they certainly don't like scene musicians to create their own labels or other forms of self-promotion!

  • @leeroynaggins Oh yeah! Good point. The internet business model is something that scares the shit out of traditional media. We do exactly what they do; only better. The net model allows everyone to get a piece of the action.

  • @leeroynaggins Have you gone to megaupload recently? LOL Go right now to their web site, you will see three federal symbols saying tht the site has been confiscated by the FBI for copy right infringement. They got FUCKED!

  • Give us Megaporn back!

  • Kim is a legend! But really, should he be In trouble for content that users have uploaded, not him?

  • I think Megaupload is a pretty cool guy. Eh hacks stuff and doesn't afraid of anything.

  • He sounds like a bro.

  • Sorry; who gives a shit about copy written material. China bootlegs everything! There's always new stuff to buy anyway! Waste of efforts of the Feds. Go find people who are potentially dangerous to everyone.

  • let him go

  • Who gives as

  • Jews

  • Wait how come they left out his greatest achievement? He is the #1 ranked Call of Duty player on xbox live. Well was . . . he has since dropped to #2 because of the whole being in prison thing.

  • Remind me how many people dead in Iraq, how many people are starving in the world. Got to wait to see the outcome of his trial. IF he gets a trial. Compare the outcome to this. American soldier kills 28 man woman and child in Iraq and gets a jail sentence of 3 months. Lets see what happens to Mr Dotcom

  • damn i just realized it's kim schmitz from gumball... awesome dude :D :)

  • Man, Ana's got some ugly-ass lumps on her face? Are they getting bigger or is the lighting just different in the studio? I literally have to look away as I listen to the video.

  • It's so shitty how our government and police colluded with the FBI to get this guy. He's a legal resident, we should be protecting him from the lunacy of US law. But it's not surprising considering how quick this government is to do absolutely anything the American elite wants of us. Ah I am so sad for my country.

  • [thumbs up]

  • when cenk said "kartoffelsalat".... it almost killed me! hahaha :D

  • @jeli13

why is that? he is constantly making fun of Germans and most of his reports on Germany about sexual stuff.

  • @Patrickz1984 i just thought his pronounciation was funny.

i don't feel like a typical german, so jokes about germans don't offend me :)

  • But german names , especially the bavarian ones are very funny. I work with this gal whose name Oberfuckschneider . She is very "blocky" like a typical german Fraulein. Die Frau Diplm ing. lol!

  • @jeli13 he is a mafia dude..

  • omg i want him as a neighbor!

  • Kim Dotcom sends some bitchin e-mails.

  • Enjoying life man thats what its all about

  • @HerrKazuya Um, no, that's not the way it works, but nice try. Home Depot isn't making it easier to burglarize someone's home simply because they sell tools. These "file sharing" programs, however, make it easy for anyone to steal copyrighted material. In addition, the "file sharing" programs make no effort to ensure that people aren't violating copyright laws. You really need to educate yourself on intellectual property law, cause you sound like a douchebag.

  • @mwhitten77 First of all this is not about a program but a website.

Second of all, sure Home Debot are helping them, but they are considered to do it passively and without incitement.

And the file sharing programs/services themselves can't even know the copyright status of the works so pre-emptively they can't even reliably filter the content.

You should look up carrier und access versus service and content provider accountability.

  • @mwhitten77 I don't mean to be rude, but there is no such thing as intellectual property law. It is however used as a catch-all for very different things such as copyright and trademark law. "Intellectual property" laws would violate actual property laws.

  • I think a lot of the people living in his "suburb" would actually be quite intertested in optimizing their tax evasion.

  • @MistressArte If you don't see any problem with "file sharing" programs such as the one Dotcom promotes, and the difference between those and YouTube, then you're the one that needs to educate themselves, my friend. Can you click and download a movie that was just released on DVD via YouTube? No. You can't even post complete movies on YouTube.

  • I wish he was my neighbor I would do blow with him all the time

  • @DaddyFatSzack you like to blow your neighbors?

  • @eight18

there is a difference between "blowing somebody" and "doing blow". I hope this information will help you in your future.

  • @Patrickz1984 really? if your busting yayo , your just blowing the cartels dick so i dont see any difference

  • @eight18

I would love to enlighten you on the use of proverbial statements, idioms and all the other things you seem unable of comprehending but there is just too much dick talk going on here for my taste. I hope you'll understand.

  • @Patrickz1984 ahhh an intellectual crackhead, how most enlightning, go sniff your yay you dumfuk

  • @eight18

two spelling errors in one insult that is meant to tell me how stupid I am? Classy.

  • @Patrickz1984 lol since when does a crackhead care about spelling? lemme guess , you;re a rich , white , trust fund baby whose mommy didnt hug him enough , BOOFUKINHOOO

  • @Patrickz1984 More specifically, junkies do the former in order to fund their habit for the later.

  • KDC was also the world's best MW3 player.

  • @hofifut I also don't understand how they don't see a problem with a service that allows people to steal. Just because he isn't doing the stealing doesn't mean he's not culpable; he provided a service that allows other people to commit crimes more easily. It's completely against the law.

  • @mwhitten77 Then so is youtube and everyone who posted a music video they edited themselves. Who do you think made the software to rip things off cd's and dvd's? watch?v=WJIuYgIvKsc Educate yourself. ;-)

  • @mwhitten77

By using that logic, shouldn't we arrest the CEOs of Home Depot? After all, they are providing tools like screwdrivers, bolt cutters and power drills, that allow people to burglarize other peoples homes. Just because the CEOs of Home Depot don't do the burglaries don't mean they are not culpable. They provide goods that allow other people to commit crimes more easily. It's completely against the law.

  • @heavytransit He absolutely is liable for copyright infringement. It's illegal to run a service that other people use tocommot crimes. It's like a bar owner who lets people deal drugs out of his bar.

  • Kinda makes me give even less of a shit about him than I did before. I think my colon is owed at least a few Arctic an summer cruises now by how little of a shit I care.

  • guess he fits right in to that stereotypical "friendly neighbor," huh?

  • @timmg3

I'd rather have him as a neighbor than some crazy Christian fundamentalists.
