  • This standard only covers lifting cords. We are now working with the CPSC and Industry leaders to eliminate all hazards on window coverings. This larger standard will be in about 18 months which will deal with all operational cords on all window coverings. My concern for your product is that it will not meet the future standard due to the continuous loop cord. Fell free to contact me to discuss.

  • @precisioncutdownsvc We have been working with industry leaders on the Roman Shade standard for the past year. We are now working on a huge standard that will address all draw cords of window coverings. I would like to share a few things with you about your product. I believe tie down devices could possibly be banned in the next few years. Children have pulled them out of walls, installers have failed to install them properly and customers do not like to have them attached to the walls.
